Hijet Climber Mini-truck, this one is a 1992, 7th Gen, S83P, 660cc Minitruck. The “climber” means it has rear axle lock.
Researching online I did find l lot of new information, but Amir explains a LOT more than I knew, he has been in the business for 15 years. Plus if Bubbles in Trailer Park Boys has one, it HAS to be cool!
Don't forget you're buying a used vehicle, check it all out, they're over 25 years old! Some are in much better shape than others. Check for leaks, CV boots ripped, Loose suspension, Clutch slippage, clunks etc. Just like any used vehicle

Here in Arizona it's cheaper to refill propane tanks than to exchange them. At least if you go to the right place. Some places charge a lot for propane and other it's a lot cheaper for bulk. I think the racoon was auditioning for a commercial!

you can weld steel with straight argon,it does really well.also if you want to get in to welding aluminum you have to use argon, that's what I keep on my mig except my dad and uncle borrowed my mig and when they used up all the gas they swapped my tank for an argon co2 mix now when and if I get my mig back I will have to get another straight argon tank. they also have my flux wire welder which would have done what they needed. they had my big Lincoln tombstone arc welder, but I brought it home to put a winch bumper kit together I like it for welding heavy steel it gets better penetration on thicker steel.
I do have a small pure argon tank for aluminum welding. Had a spool gun, this Everlast has only DC TIG

Loving the series! Wish they were longer but that editing has to take a while. Are you still running the Ceros? Thinking of picking up a set for my Carry. I daily drive it so I'm running street tires, have a set of 24" Sunfs on the factory steelies but they're kinda sketchy over 50 lol. Still recommend the Ceros for running around on pavement?

Just remembered, we used to drive those little mini trucks on base in Virginia Beach, still used on bases in Jax FL. kinda fun to drive but with fake glass windows/windshield it was no good in the rain. Just bought a '19 hawk 250, can't wait! Lifelong dream. Going to do something about that seat, would you say it's uncomfortable? It looks to me like it should have a regular dirtbike flat seat

MotoCheez hey motocheez, just got the bike yesterday, so far not good though, the brakes drag a little, just audibly slightly. The clutch lever linkage feels loose to where it feels like it wants to take off with the lever squeezed. Then the carb., it didn't idle right when I got it so I tried to adjust it but broke the dang screw off in the carb 😰
Damn! Sometimes a new clutch is grabby where you can't find neutral for a while. The idle screw... Damn. Carbs are cheap ($20) if you going to do jetting. Can get it ready and pop it on

I just recently bought one of these mini trucks in the Philippines. Converted from right side drive ti left side. Real nice conversion. Question. Before it is converted, which side of the wheel is the turn signal located? Mine is 4WD 5 speed. Seems to be geared pretty low cuz 40-45 kph is typical cruising speed in 4th gear (before I realized it had a 5th). Doesn’t matter much since 1/2 of my driving here is under 40kph and over 3/4 of my time driving is stop and go. Reconditioned vehicle in and out for $4.5k

My tires stick out 4”, so my bed sides will never drop flat down again. The sides come completely off,easy enough, if you just need a flat bed.
