We explore some Last Epoch cheating drama that happened since LE launched. I will not be providing any links to the tools I used in this video, to not encourage cheating and use of potentially harmful software. This video is nothing like godlike build guide content from Raxxanterax (Rax) or Wudijo and instead is just a random rant about another out-of-pocket rant on Last Epoch cheating and the potential dangers of using hacks... even when playing in a fully offline LE session.

Last Epoch is a hack and slash action role-playing game developed by Eleventh Hour Games. In April 2018, a free playable demo was released as part of Last Epoch's Kickstarter drive. In April 2019, the game's beta was made available via Steam Early Access.

PoE veteran here. FastAF has been around for a long time making build guides that range from unremarkable to extremely bad, and they all make big claims about the builds and how strong and easy to gear they are. I’ve always seen that channel as a trap for newer players, but I hadn’t heard anything about cheating allegations.
Not many real ways to cheat in PoE except botting I guess, but yeah "pray on the new" vibe is strong with this one

What can I say, I sugg at cheating 😅 also the bosses were at 3000 corruption (idk if that means anything tho)
that is the app that will literally help you get bored fast in the game. Specially solo gameplay

Haha, yeah. Drama died, so did the cheats, i hope... :D I probably had the worst and the most underwhelming gaming experience 20 minutes into playing with cheated stuff, it really isn't worth installing.
modding AARPGS specifically has always been confusing and stupid to me..... If you played a fishing game but had a mod to just get the fish, whats the point of the game... If i wasn't excited about items/upgrading i just wouldn't play if i just got everything. Each to their own tho, as long as it stays offline.
The game is not that hard and has no roadblocks where you can't progress any further before completing an impossibly difficult objective, so there's literally no incentive to cheat aside from build testing and trying to sell builds (which FastAF doesn't do). Also can relate to the specific fishing example because I know a guy who used to cheat in Russian Fishing 4, lol.

Is this your first ARPG? Character editors for offline mode have been around for decades. They are used for all sorts of reasons and since it is offline, it hurts literally no one.
True. I just didn't expect this to have it too. For some reason fees wrong, like if Lost Ark had a save editor too ykwim?
I just needed a way to open my stash mid dungeon.
Well a mod do can open it anywhere with F3. But shift+click doesn't work because for some reason there's a proximity check 😅
@@approximatelybored Since they let us open the crafting forge from anywhere maybe they could patch stashing from anywhere soon so I don't have to rely on mods to make the gameflow playable and not play 2 mins > manage inventory 6 mins. More then one prophecy for dungeon rares makes the rest of the dungeon slow to a crawl so I can pick and choose what to take with me.

Yeah sounds like scam attempt to me, not that cheat programs are not scams and contain trojans and keyloggers anyways turning your PC into a zombie, part of criminal botnets, and stealing all your credit card and personal data you keep on your PC or stuff you do in your webbrowser. Hard hacks and injected mods are the main problem imo. While cheat-engine tables are as safe as hacks can get. Both will likely ruin the game if you use it though. Good think I still enjoy LE after I filmed this.

cheats spoil the fun of the game because here without a goal it is boring and pointless to play I tested it on myself and yes the game does not set a goal of how good your character should be, it is you who sets the limit of how high you want to play on the other hand the game is very boring because there is nowhere to play except monoliths, there are dungeons but they are boring and rankings do not give you anything except that you are high in the ladder for fun :P

Seeing a game to have offline available, everyone knows it's possible to edit files. Same logic like Diablo 2.
