Distributed by 20th Century Fox, the film's main cast includes Townsend, Michael Wright, Leon Robinson, Harry J. Lennix, Tico Wells, Harold Nicholas of the Nicholas Brothers, and Diahann Carroll.
The group goes on the road, but the travel is marred by racism and poor living conditions.
Their voices acapella give me the chills. This scene makes me cry because you can feel the pain and helplessness from all the characters.

This actually happened to the group Blue Magic in rural Michigan. They sued that police department and won.

Those cops don't seem that bad at all.
