Fun video. I like the twinkling lights. I think we have the same hair type. As far as I know, oils and especially conditioners will stay in your locs and alter the look and feel of them. My motto is ‘no oils ever’ just use a clarifying shampoo once a week and separate as needed. That is it. I’m looking forward to reaching your length!
Thank you for watching! Yeah I’m still at a learning curve with these locs lol and I’ll figure it out one day. I appreciate your insight and I hope you’re enjoying your journey . 🌸✨
Glad you found something that works for you! Thanks to this video, I’m now researching about protein for locs.lol. I see those little pieces of hair as well which can be annoying. I read that some oils(which I have no issues using sparingly) are helpful in preventing protein loss such as coconut(best used in hot weather), avocado and possibly olive oil. I have to do some more research on that though. You and your locs look beautiful as always! Have a great weekend 💜
Empress D Hey 😃 Thank you so much for the comment and for checking out the video! 💕🙏🏾✨I’m glad you were able to get something helpful from it. Yes, the protein treatment upgraded my locs lol. I hope it does the same for you!
Yes it still works wonders for my hair too! I started using a while back but then stopped for whatever reason but bow its a part of my moisture routine. I hope you ask me all kinds of questions when you decide to loc it up lol! 💕✨🌸. I love you l!
Nile Garner Thank you sista 🌸. Yeah that gunk is so muthaeffin gross! 😂 I have to just closely monitor what I put in my hair. Also, I realized that the video is not edited correctly but I don't feel like changing it 😆😆. But anyway, thank you for watching the entire way through! I love you ❤️
Thank you for the info! I love the bangs, I will likely do that when I get bored of my hair 😂 I’m one month in and so far and I love them, but it’s been some work keeping them “tidy”😅
Lisa Lyn Hello and thank you for watching! I'm glad you found some of the information helpful for your journey. 🙏🏾 Yes, the few months are the most challenging as I remember lol. Buy trust me it gets easier. Best of luck on your journey! ✨

Good to know about the wheat protein. I have been wanting to do a protein treatment. That definitely sounds like oil build up.
Yeah it was a pain in the butt getting out lol.
