One of those 3 fights was the Yan fight, Petr cleary won that fight 2 1....its funny how takedowns with no control time and ground and pound won DDP the mw title but Yan controling and landing ground and pound and landing good shots on the feet against O Malley lost him a split decision

The reason why chito wasn't following through with his shots is because he was having a severe issue with the speed and power and a a few times when he was going in fully he got blasted real hard, and those shots with that added momentum of the follow through he would've been finished I have no doubt. But he needed to get anything off earlier, but most guys aren't going to be able to disrupt Sean's output. His leg weapons weren't doing shit to suga that's why. You can talk your game plan all you want, you know that was his plan, but everyone has a plan until they run into a buzzsaw like that. Good luck. Merab gets absolutely destroyed. Mark this comment when that fight happens.

From the first round Sean's footwork was just better. When he was on the cage he immediately gets off. His footwork allowed him to stay at range. His feints had vera backpedaling. All of this is what really made this fight a domination for O'Malley. Not to mention that his defense in this fight was amazing, and his accuracy. He landed literally every shot. He did a spinning back kick to Marlon's face. That was very impressive. One thing too, Sean was throwing offense from multiple different angles, which were hard to see defensively and they caught chito throughout the fight, especially when sean exits in and out of the pocket.
I used to shit on O'Malley, a lot. I was sure aljo was gonna kick Sean's ass, but after that 2nd round knockout. I never questioned this guy ever again. I remember when people were still shitting on Sean after that fight. And people were still convinced that Marlon was gonna outclass Sean. But me, if you ko aljo in the 2nd round, I'm never questioning your skills ever again. And he put on a clinic and wiped the floor with chito. And I wasn't the least bit surprised.
