If my savings say $20,000, and my checking says $350. Then $350 is all I have..

It's not about how much you earn, but how much you keep

True words spoken. It's not how much money you have. It's what you do with it. That matters more. U can either spend it like a woman or let it grow & invest

I figured out about 30 yrs ago, if I kept my expenses low, I did not need to make a whole lot of money. Has worked pretty well. 3 weeks ago I bought a 2012 Acura TSX, with 98000 miles on it. Wrote a check for it. I also have a 2011 Rubicon in the garage for bad weather. No car payments for years. I have never bought a new car. No debt except a small mortgage.

My Living as a Minimalist strategy
💵Opened High 5.1% High interest Rate savings acct.
    💵 Opened a 📈Robin Hood investment account.
💵 Lived below my means by shopping at Dollar tree Ross Marshalls for clothing
💵 Paid myself $100 out of every check and put that money in Robin Hood or my savings account
    💵 Made my own meals
After 3 years I have a net worth of 20K in savings and stock assets....AND GROWING 💰💰💰💰

The average private sector career lasts 5 years. Savings is an outdated strategy.
