- The Kunwu knives Chad aside from having the greatest name in knife history, is also an insanely well made, full titanium axis lock knife. With a gorgeous sheepsfoot style blade in PM60 steel, which has been heat treated to an absurd 69 hrc.

Yeah, I’m happy with my Chad but it’s probably the last axis lock I’ll buy. They just aren’t as satisfying.

Yes @mikereese, I'm pretty well done with axis style locks and the Tao S is at the top of my "really want one of those" list. Just waiting for WMK to get them back in stock.

The black blade with carbon fiber is freaking beautiful. Sharp AF
Just a little tidbit about PM60. It's a Norway steel, is extremely high wear resistant, tough to sharpen above 68hrc, is not stainless in the slightest and can't lay edge back lower than 15 degrees since it won't support all the carbides(Low edge retention).
I really like the S-Tao so the Chad makes me smile just as much.
My only complaint with Kunwu is their shipping from China. I think they strap the knives to a mule and it swims across the Pacific. Then weeks stuck in customs. Sheesh!
My order shipped on 8/4 and is out for delivery today 8/11.
Bad luck then, my Padre took 9 days and my Chad took 10 from when they shipped out.

@@chasesyverud8984 it's pretty freaking sweet. Action is great, blade is sexy, and it's easy, fun, and not terrifying to front flip like some knives 😂 No disappointments
My Carbon Fiber CHAD bit me on the palm within the first minute I had it. Nice KNAF tho. Another outstanding review sir, the best in the business.

I have the pulsar and love it. That blade steel is awesome. I have a Spyderco with a K390 blade. I’ve seen tests that show it’s HRC is 66

I just landed a Benchmade (your fav) Anthem. The spring-loaded Axis Lock on that feels quite a bit different than an omega spring operated one. You can reverse flick it with ease and it feels super solid. It's quite an experience, I have to say. It's 🤌💋 all day.

I would get one while there available cause kunwu wont be producing the chad in this configuration again ( heres the quote from kunwu on why the chad wont be made in this configuration again "both you and Kunwu payed the price of waiting, you by paying significantly lower price of the model that after this will not see the light of the day unless its 500 bucks plus")I have one and its badass.
I was searching if someone had commented on this. Bought mine on the kick starter also. Glad I did now, you right I don't think the price of these will go anywhere but up! I have the full line of Kunwu's and will probably continue to buy each model. Well until they realize they are way under priced. I think they are figuring it out now with the newest about 100 smackers more.
Too bad there's no way to attach a lanyard. If there was you could make it a hanging Chad.
