This video is exactly what I needed...lengths, diameters, procedures, even colours. I was given a 1976 Laser with no cordage, only hardware. Surprised to hear "sheave" pronounced as "sheeve". Nothing wrong with that. I've pronounced it "shiv" all my life...but I'm 77. Has the same happened to gunwale, forecastle, boatswain, and so on? Anyway, I've made a list of lines, off to the chandler, then rig this boat!

I love this video and I bought the line kit for my laser and have been having a lot of fun with it, but why are
there parts of the video that you cannot see and a media offline screen appears, like at 2:22, it’s not a huge deal but it is a inconvenience and I don’t understand how that was looked over, they take up like 5 seconds three times

That's what's like I rig my Laser, with a few more sophisticated boom jack, the cunhingham with triple knots, and in the boom. 15 minutes to keep for go out. Nowadays is more sophisticated everything, new pieces, etc I sail Laser for decades, but still rig the older way, and by the rules it was forbidden some rigs...
