- Let's grill up some prime ribeye steaks. And for this cook, I'll be reverse searing them.
What that means is we'll start with a lower temperature, indirect heat and then finish them over high, direct heat.
Steaks were cooked on the Big Green Egg. The steak seasoning was Black from Hardcore Carnivore..
Great detailed video, keep them coming. Making me hungry and I just had breakfast!!

You turned me onto HC black a little bit over a year ago and has been my go to for steak ever since! People are always amazed after having a steak rubbed up with it!
right on, and thank you! I love that HC black, it's just so good on steaks.

You were recommended to watch by a FB member of Big Green Egg BBQers. Great video. One suggestion, the lighting, color on your video doesn't do your cooking justice. Check out Guga Foods or Sous Vide Everything for videography comparisons. I'm no cameraman and I know what a good steak should look like, your camera didn't capture it. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you! Yes, still trying to figure out the lighting. I started on Instagram and have a good hang on making those video but these are a bit harder to get right.
Great video! Could you do this without the eggspander by cooking indirectly and then removing the place setter to sear at the end?
Yes, you definitely could. That's how I used to do it before I got the eggspander. The process is the same, it just makes it a little easier since you don't have to remove anything.

What kind of camera do you use?
