I just heard Grace Potter on an interview says that she loves Turkish Disco because of the great base lines and since I was unaware of Turkish Disco, I googled it and found this! Great stuff! FUNK is my all time favorite music and basically impossible to find in Miami.

Oat cappuccino at the ready and Turkish music? Sunday is already better! Shout out to the MAJ worldwide family.
Turkish disco never disappoints me
9:21 and on: sick bass line! wow!
the orchestrations of every single song are phenomanal .
Great set thanks.. Also thank you the beautiful people of Turkey for such beautiful music that has me dancing and singing around the house.
May disco and real music unite all humanity in joy and love. We are one, just led to believe we are not. It’s that simple. Love to all, thank you for sharing.
Yesterday I was saying the same thing. We are one, music and dance show us who we are. When we feel the music and dance, the problems are sung and we merge into ONE. It is what we are.
Agreed. Beautifully stated.
I truly believe music will be a major component in the reunification of mankind over the next generation. Keep sharing this indelible news with everyone you meet.
I absolutely love your funk sets from non-English speaking countries. As always, thanks for the perfect Sunday morning set. Many blessings to you.
Right?

Thank you so much for this! I’m learning Turkish right now and I didn’t know Turkey had a disco/funk scene
It was fantastic at 80s and 90s. So I was told

There isn't much you can't find in Istanbul.
Osman İşmen's Disco Madımak would have been a great addition to this mix. But great job with the mix!

You've done it now - crave level 10!
I have heard of the elusive Turkish coffee... Is it real?
@@campbellpaul what "elusive" means? Im Turkish, I guess I can answer that question.
@@AlpVonTrier I haven't found a place that sells Turkish coffee in the US, but I probably just need to search on the web lol. Is it good?
@@campbellpaul I know a restaurant at Canada, If one day you will go to Toronto there is Turkish coffee in a restaurant named "Barans Turkish Cuisine & Bar". The place I know for America is "Turkish Coffee Lady" . They are very popular and if I'm not wrong they also sell on their website.
I know these two but maybe you can find better on the internet
As for how good it is, it's very personal. I love coffee so much. Coffee and tea are popular in Turkey, but I hate tea. I drink coffee every day. I tried all kinds of coffees and liked most of them. But my favorite is still Turkish coffee. If you like strong, caffeine-laden drinks, you'll definitely like it. If you don't like strong, Turkish coffee with milk is the light version and I like this version more. :D You just have to find good coffee. If you get bad stuff, you might hate it even if it's a drink you normally like. I also recommend having dessert with it. I like to drink it with baklava or a dessert named şöbiyet. In the past, people used to drink with Turkish delight. In fact, this is what is culturally appropriate, but I don't like Turkish delight much so i prefer another desserts. You can also drink it with chocolate, which is very preferred and loved. Important details for service: you should have a small glass of water with dessert and coffee. You will clear your throat by drinking a sip of water before coffee, so that you can fully enjoy the coffee. Then a sip of coffee, after that, when you wait for a while and enjoy the coffee completely, a piece of dessert, Then another sip of water to clear your throat of the aroma left by the dessert. Another sip of coffee an d waiting... Drinking this way periodically. You should drink the coffee in the last sip and not drink water for a while so that you can fully enjoy the coffee. It is also recommended to slurp while drinking so that you do not lose foam.
perfect vibes on a soupy-hot pittsburgh afternoon.
