I'm Jason, a full-time British Traveller.
I have filmed a travel series in many of the world's best (and least) known destinations. I started my channel in the summer of 2016 after spending a year living in China, followed by a solo trip to Eastern Europe after graduating from university.
After that European trip I explored much of Asia: visiting India, Bangladesh, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand, Pakistan, the Philippines, South Korea and Kazakhstan.
I have also travelled to North Africa and the Middle East fairly extensively over the last five years, filming videos in Turkey, Algeria, Tunisia, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Israel and Palestine.
In 2022, I took my first trip to Sub Saharan Africa, visiting Kenya and Tanzania, before heading to the Middle East, stopping in Dubai and Lebanon. Europe followed, covering both the Greek and Turkish sides of Cyprus, and afterwards going back to Italy for the second time to cover Milan and Sicily. I then visited the Caribbean for the first time, covering the Dominican Republic, before heading to both Brussels and Amsterdam, then covering Taiwan and the Philippines in Asia. I finished off the year with a trip around Morocco.
In 2023 I finally visited Paris, before heading over to Qatar for a few days. I went onwards to India, Singapore, Taiwan, Japan, Mongolia, Thailand and Sumatra (Indonesia). I began 2024 by revisiting Bangladesh, India and Turkey.

The Battersea Power Station, I'm quite sure you are well aware that the site has been redeveloped by a consortium of Malaysian companies. The investment came from the Malaysian Employees Provident Fund, Sime Darby and SP Setia.
I love the architecture in the European cities, towns and villags, especially in a big city like London or Paris or Madrid. Have you heard of Diana Darke, an author of Stealing from the Saracens, How Islamic architecture shaped Europe.
Have you been to the Canary Wharf. Some of the professional consultants that were involved in that project, had also worked in redeveloping the turf club in KL into what you know today as KLCC featuring the iconic landmark, the Petronas Twin Towers.
This was awesome!! Next time I'm in London, I'll be using these tips!!

Maybe do a similar video for manchester if you're up there. visited there recently myself. there's 2 free bus services that can get you around various parts of the city centre and of course some free museums/galleries. a good city for sure. glad I went.
One of our favourite free things to do in any foreign land is looking around supermarkets. Of course, we always buy something, but how much you spend is up to you. Plus, it's cheaper than any restaurant, etc. I'm sure most people eat on holiday too.

Wow! The first time I went to London was Oct, 2018 and then went back in May, 2019 and then again in Nov 2022 and was there for Remembrance Day. There was so much to see I had to go three times. I would add the Royal Air Force Museum and the National Army Museum. I loved this video so much because I went to all the places you mentioned. Also on those three trips I went to Windsor Castle, Stonehenge and Bath (not free,) did a trip to Greenwich and the sites there, and took a train to Brighton for an afternoon. As I write this I am thinking of maybe taking a fourth trip. Thank you so much for this video reminding me how spectacular London and its environs are.
Sky Garden and The Garden @120 are free to visit skyscrapers for great views over London.

I had no idea you were from Cambridgeshire, so am I! Well Peterborough to be fair which we often get shunned in Cambridgeshire as the ugly cousin, but Cambridgeshire nonetheless! London is pretty cool, when I visit I go to a cool Iranian restaurant in Kensal Green called Behesht, it's super cheap for London. Enjoy man! 🙂👌
