@@engjoel well you can copy an entire circuit but idk how to copy a segment of it

Are we talking about tinkercad circuits? you can duplicate a whole document, or press ctrl+a to select all, then copy and paste, or hold shift and click on each component you want to duplicate, then copy/paste.
