  • In this workshop, Dr. Nicole talks about both IC and Pelvic Floor Dysfunction - what is the difference, how do they interrelate, and does it change what you need to do to improve.
This comes out of the INTERSTITIAL CYSTITIS: ROADMAP TO HEALING course from Dr. Nicole, the first online IC course for patients that guides them on their journey to lasting relief with practical, positive information. Almost two years in the making, the course summarizes what we tell both local and our remote patients about IC and how to navigate the system to find true healing - you can find more at www.pelvicsanity.com/ICRoadmap!

Male 43- This is amazing!! I've been dealing with this bladder pressure, pain (ish), urgency since January 9th of this year. I also have had SI joint pain for about a year (ish) and feel I was holding my urine due to work demands. I had a feeling it was connected but the 6 urologists and multiple doctors tell me i'm wrong and just put me on IC meds which dont seem to help much!! This has given me so much hope that I was right and I need to correct my bodies imbalance. Thank you!!!

Yes!!! So glad this is helpful! It can totally be connected. Hopefully you can find a good pelvic floor PT that works with men! There are plenty out there ...you can shoot me a DM on @pelvicsanity IG if you have trouble finding someone to help you. Thanks for the feedback on the video! Good luck!

This is amazing. I happened to do kegels yesterday...first time in forever...and today my bladder feels pressure and urgency. This all makes so much sense

Yes! And with the new AUA IC guidelines specifically NOT recommending Kegels for this very reason, us PTs are so excited because that is what we have been saying for SOOOO long!

@@pelvicsanity9591 I am a IC/PFD patient. I gave PT a try about a year ago. My P. Therapist prescribed Kegels ×5 times a day (she said you could do it anywhere, anytime). After i realized that it was making my condition worse, I quit PT.... It is so hard to find a good practitioner...

Are you aware of HC in America today? Team? Treatment is for only wealthy people surrounded by amazing doctors. What is one to do when PFT are $250 an hour and don’t take insurance? IC patients are left to feel like dying is the only answer. 2024 is a disaster.
