Google teams up with Ford for research hub at Michigan Central Station

Ford will not be the only company moving into the Michigan Central Station when it's ready, as Ford and Google are teaming up to help turn the area into a research hub for new technology.

I agree 100%. With all the renovations, business and retail space, I think Michigan Central needs to become a train station again. Amtrak is already considering using the station to extend the Wolverine to Toronto, but I'd go a step further. Create a new commuter rail system for southeast Michigan with the station as it's hub. Connect buses and maybe even a tram line, and you've got a huge, bustling transportation center and business space.
