NEW FOREST WALK : KEYHAVEN & HURST CASTLE (NEW FOREST NATIONAL PARK)

- My series of "New Forest Walks" with my dog, Logan (the Whippet) continues with a visit to the tiny coastal village of Keyhaven. We take a stroll (part of the Solent Way) along the Coastal Path, exploring the Nature Reserve, investigating the site of the old, long gone, Saltern Industry as well as looking at the impressive Hurst Castle.
We meet a couple of "Birdwatchers" (who let me look through their telescope to view some Golden Plover) and interview a chap from the New Forest Park Authority who was leading a small team of Archaeologists who were investigating the site of 17th Century dock.

I use an AKASO V50Pro Action Camera with an ISteady Gimbal together with a Canon SX 400IS.
such a beautiful gentle dog, the programme was not too bad either....
Thanks Alan. Yes, Logan is a good boy!
Moveing to Milford on sea really interesting
I hope that all goes well with your move. Thanks for watching.
Really enjoying your series of walks Dave. The research you put in before each walk really shows
Thank you for your kind comments.
I’d like to see you do a video of the interesting pubs you visit Dave. From a historical perspective, obviously. 😉
Now that would be a good idea. I used to try and finish the videos with an "end scene" back at a pub....I just need to find some that are open!
what an expensive pup the GUN INN is. I have just come back from Keyhaven after a weeks holiday, loverly place to start from.
Indeed - finding a pint for under a Fiver anywhere appears to becoming a challenge these days I fear!
A very enjoyable walk, your dog is very well behaved.
Thanks Ann. Yes - Logan is a good boy (he always gets a biscuit at the end of filming!).
