I beat a lvl 29 Buzz with a lvl 20 Jasmine bc he kept falling off the map. Money won't buy you skill. Lol
I feel like ppl review bombed this game for hating micro transactions but its a free game lol. Free to play with battle pass and vbucks is the best way for a game to grow

Good explanation about the characters and the role that they essentially are. I never even knew they had “assigned” roles to em and that gives me a whole different perspective on how to play.
Comparing drift to Mario Kart really makes sense. I have though holding does more good, but you have shown me there is more to learn. I appreciate that!

I think the drifting was the one thing I wasn’t too sure of since it was hard to say, “how long should you drift before firing it off?”
That said, I do appreciate the explanation of boost too and how Figment is a good example of how to practice drifting.
Just jumped in and I regret not buying my way in day one since it has been a blast so far. I’m sure they will have more events and such to allow all the racers to be earned over time, but my goal for now is to try and get everyone I currently have to at least two star for now and get them to 25 before focusing on getting to the higher stars.
Beyond that, I can be patient.
i just started to play today and i somehow already mastered drifting i found that i am really good at racing games for some reason

This helped me specifically about the "let go the drifting" part. I thought longer drifting was better. I would just add to your video some simple tips like "knowing the tracks", "knowing the shortcuts", etc...
just downloaded and the fact they have a seasonal campaign mode that's also free is such a huge dub

3:08 side dashing for mobile is swipe left or right, pc it's arrow keys left or right
Hack isn't an amazing item, but if you put it in a part of the track where it's hard to dodge it, just watch that boost bar SOAR!
I always crash because of it, and there's a reason, the only thing that it does is reverse the screen not the actually controller, while in most of racing games it does reverse ur controller instead of the screen
It does invert your turning what are you on about? It doesn't do anything if you're already holding a direction though. @@z_kokiiitoos
At the start of each race, there is a circular bar in the of the screen which will appear. Hit the darker shade of blue when that happens and you will get a awesome starting boost if you have timed it correctly!😊 Hopefully this tip will both help beginners and advanced players get that little bit of extra boost when they need it at the start of a race.🏁
And then you get hit by a high level player that starts the race with the flame skill and spend the rest of the race in 8th place 😩 lol
But seriously yeah, it seems something superbasic and dumb but idk if its explained, it took me so long to figure out how that bar was supposed to work 😅😂
@@JakeNOTHING There has to be a better way to explain those tutorials on how get those boost starts. And man how right you are about those power-ups or by getting hit by one of them. I can't stand the one that completely reverses your controls around! I hate that one!😡
@@brynwhitlock62 yeah few things the tutorial doesn't really explain, like the side bash as well, and that skill is actually the one that I find less detrimental (reason why I think some tricksters are a bit underwhelming) cause I figured it doesn't really reverse your controller, only the screen, so even if I get hit in a curve, I just need to keep holding the same direction I'm drifting on regardless of what I see in the screen hahah so only if it takes me by surprise or there's too many crazy turns it might be a problem, also mostly useless if it hits you in a straight road, crews that let you start with skills that stun tho? That's some ridiculous bs
Also do you have anyone you know that have been in online races with a bad internet connection because sometimes everybody starts racing before you start to get going yourself? This has happened to me on certain occasions when I am just trying to race with others and I end up having to catch up from last place. Has this happened to you yet?🤔 Just curious.
@@brynwhitlock62 this exact same thing happened to me a couple days ago, and it was a couple of races back to back until I restarted my console, it was the beginning of the race when the screen is showing each competitor and their name, but it kept going and showing each of them even after they already started racing and I couldn't move meanwhile... Not sure if it was due to connection tho

It'd be nice if the game explained that the normal rush turns you invincible. I had a hunch because of you turning green but that's an effect that isn't consistent and can't be trusted.
New player here. I currently have Jasmin and Genie lvl 15. I'm not completely sold on Genie yet. Maybe I just suck with him lol. I was going to save all of my mats for Aladdin but since he's not available for several more weeks, not sure if I should level up one of these or hold my mats for Aladdin. Thoughts?
Also I took all of my racers to Platinum. What level is recommended to reach Emerald?
Idk for me genie its the BEST of the Aladdin characters

Hi everyone! I'm new to the game, I am playing Disney Speedstorm on the switch. I don't know if i can play both the solo and multiplayer modes without the Nintendo Switch Online subscription. Can I play it without it???
The drift boost is annoying because there's no sound cue when it's charged and the visual FX is hard to distinguish.
Ofc people don't know about dashing, the game doesn't tell you about it. lol It's probably broken on brawlers.
Why isn't side bashing not in the tutorial? All this time I was wondering how am I getting hit when I'm side by side from another racer, I'm pissed.
what about best unique skill? or best of a certain class?

Yeah, u shouldn't spend all of ur currencies on one, for example I try to level all of them to 15, so then it will be easier to level them up if I need them in a future, I started playing a few days and I'm f2p, surely can play f2p and max out
Only defenders fill the boost bar when you are behind an enemy?
Only when you’re not actively boosting. If you’re using boost, every racer gets a smaller version of the slipstream effect.

bumping with tricksters isnt even worth it unless youre on a sharp corner. they dont stun or slow their opponent down. you hit them just to get hit back but when you get hit you get fucked. brawlers are way to op with their bumps.
Yeah, the brawlers having a full powered stun that others only gain access to by hitting with items is ridiculously powerful. I smell a nerf. :P

help need to ne how to do a spitstream plz
I'm frustrated that I can't do ANYTHING online! It's like i'm against nothing but overly aggressive bots instead of actual players. I get bombarded with attacks every 2 seconds, even AT THE START! I always get sent to 8th when i get a momentum going! Everyone targets ME but not each other. When I attack, it either doesn't faze them or they bounce back straight away. When i AM in the top 3, the rubberband effect bites me and once again has me get bombarded and sent to 8th, then everyone does backward skills while i'm there.
I REALLY want to love this game. It was fun when i first got it. But when playing ranked matches to get rewards, my fun gets drained out of me and it becomes a frustrating chore.
If so, you should use a defender
