Anyone Else watching this in 2021 now that Jake is a full-time wedding filmmaker?
He is my inspiration
That was brilliant. HILARIOUS. So cinematic too!
There was a ted talk about this for my psychology class 😂 that's awesome
What are the odds that someone just sent me that book and then i watched this video. Very impressive jake. I watched the whole thing and you had great production value being in the airport. How did you do that? The plane also looked pretty empty. Did you board super early?
Keep it up. You have great storytelling technics. Loved how you showed the theif turn into a prisoner in the characters mind. Can't wait to see what's next from visler studios.

If you want good production value, check out The Man: ua-cam.com/video/Z9EIE2Q8LAw/v-deo.html
"Based on a book"???... "The Cookie Thief" Poem was written by Valerie Cox!!! and made famous by Wayne Dyer!! >
A woman was waiting at an airport one night
With several long hours before her flight
She hunted for a book in the airport shop
Bought a bag of cookies and found a place to drop
She was engrossed in her book but happened to see
That the man beside her as bold as could be
Grabbed a cookie or two from the bag between
Which she tried to ignore to avoid a scene
... ...>>>
Yeah, was a little bummed myself to see the reference to the "book"
The Best short film ever!!! This should get an award!!
I like this version better. Especially the ending.
The Valerie Cox version of the story as found in Chicken Soup for the Souls is a wonderful rendition, but not the original version. The story concept goes back at least 80 years. The oldest version I was able to find was a train station rather than an Airport. Douglas Adams author of the famous Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy is rumored to have claimed this story had happened to him.
I first heard the story in a 7 Habits workshop to help illustrate the principle of a paradigm shift.
Seriously, being a writer yourself, don't you know you should give credit when credit is due? Put her name in the film and in your book! Sorry but what a shame!
@@Lyraa28 bless Lyraa, why so negative? You ask why not give credit? How about because it’s not her story? Who did she give credit too? As I previously explained in the comment you replied too.🤔🤨. In the inside cover of my book - I mention both her and Douglas Adams by name. But the story origins predates them both by over 40 years. #dontbeahater
The central intended book in the message is about not rushing to judgment. If you had actually opened and read my book... seen her name listed among others maybe you could have avoided this ... happy to send you a copy
