yeah, there are a few in there that are that size. I seen a bunch today but there were around 2-feet.
I had that happen on Easter , wanted some cut bait and got a cat instead

What sort of rod and reel were you using? Looks kind of like shimano
Yes, this is a very old Shimano Quickfire II rod and reel combo I bought back in the 80s.
I think all the fish got pushed downstream after that big rain we had.
I fought the urge to fish here for like 4-days trying to let the water get back to normal. It was still very stained.
Good outing... I can show you a good place out there to get some small panfish.
I know where to find them, just wanted to straight from the hook to the other hook. lol

@@mikem2114 I have a size 6 Gamakatsu hook on the other rod with a small bobber.
Lmk me and my father are looking for a spot to fish anywhere know would be nice aleast to show my 3 year old I can catch a fish lol 😂
I see gar in there all the time, but have never caught one. Is that behind the outdoor rec on Lackland? I usually go to the park, but have never had any luck.
No, this is not far downstream from Stillman Park.
Is this area private property?
