Trivia: Had I visited Otaru a week later, I could have filmed another Winter Festival here. I hope they hold the winter festival at the same time as Sapporo but actually they don't, so I was unable to shoot the video.

"Winter Wonderland" is a good description to the place.
Walking tour good view niceee
Beautiful love it
So snowy walking! 😍
The picture quality in this video is excellent!! Very good. Glad you were able to stay slip free. As a older person, slip and falls are something I really try to avoid.
Hi, Yoshi san! 🙋🏻♀️ You are totally right: Otaru is absolutely beautiful at night time. The combination of snow and the illuminated buildings is so perfect. I saw the daytime video. I hope you are feeling better after falling down due to the slippery floor. Fortunately, you could successfully handle the snow for this one. Thank you for sharing this charming experience. Take care. 😊
Lovely video. Really hope your hand gets better ASAP.
I know it is already about a month after you shot this video and the preceding one, and I hope your hand had totally recovered now. We Canadians totally understand slipping and falling on icy road is no kidding.
Thanks. Although it hurt for 2 days or so, I'm fully OK! 😄
I have visited Hokkaido twice over the past 12 months but never visited Otauru. That's a shit load of tourists and cameras. Thanks for documenting it. I'm not sure that's my jam.
Glad you are ok from your slip Yoshi. It is beautiful at night in the snow.
I had my first chemo today. Only side effect is I have cold sensitivity. I can't eat or drink cold for 3 to 5 days after chemo. Chemo is every 14 days for 4 months not 6. Thank you for your prayers.
Please don't rush. Just relax. I hope everything will be OK from now on.
@@VSV_Japan Thank you Yoshi
I loved visiting Otaru for the light festival this past february. Do you happen to know the name of the store on the right at 30:30? Its the one with the flashing light up christmas tree. I remember going in there for some delicious melon ice cream.
It's called Otaru Canal Plaza goo.gl/maps/tExLXa2xwZCzCHcS9 It's also a tourist information center. sites.google.com/view/otarubase
