I just want Hollywood to stop catering to all countries and letters. I want good classic movies when it comes to the stories I love. They ruined Star wars so much
The situation with seeing the planet in one of the films went like this: 1. The Brothers Strausse wanted to set their movie in space, and have it follow a hunt on the planet, which the executives shot down because they wanted a direct sequel. 2. Failing this, they insisted on a scene at the end which was sequel bait, with there being a transition from Yutani getting the Predator tech into a starship coming into orbit aroond the Hiveworld. This would then zoom down to the surface where we'd see a confrontation happening with a winged King Alien. 3. When THAT got cut, the brothers pitched the next movie as just being that, being set in the future on the Hiveworld. The executives weren't interested, but Gillis and Woodruff picked it up from there and tried to get it off the ground for a year or so, but by 2009 Ridley Scott had resumed his interest and so the suits went with that over the Alien planet. I guess they thought boring unlikable teenagers an poorly lit sets were the absolute worst an Alien movie could get... 4. Ridley Scott made it a whole lot fuckin' worse... but then it was going to get better maybe because the sequel was going to deliver, not a Xeno homeworld, but an Engineer one, back when it was still thought that humans came from Engineers and not the other way aroond, and that the movies were going to establish that Engineers were the same thing as Space Jockies. This meant we'd still get a biomechanoid nightmare planet full of aliens, so it would have essentially been a Hiveworld. But... nope, it was, uh... Rome... with Earth trees. And wheat. For some reason. I've heard Alvarez wants to stick aroond for the next movie, which if it ends up being co-directed by the guy who did the last solo Predator movie would be cool, personally I think we should have learned our lesson and no one should ever be allowed to break the single film term limit on the series. Scott nearly completely tanked the whole franchise. But co-directing? Maybe. So I think if we see that it'll probably not be another prequel like the last two with Predators in it, but... the Hiveworld? I don't see it happening. The problem is the extended universe stuff has been a lot more tightly maintained recently to keep everything more in line with the film continuity, which basically means most every story has to be more or less an isolated incident, because by the 24th century all other avenues of obtaining a xenomorph are supposed to be closed off to them. So to have an entire planet of them... like that's not gonna fly, I don't think. And if Fox shut down Red Harvest because they absolutely refuse to indulge in the film series having a split timeline, I don't think Disney is going to operate differently considering how much more focused they are on maintaining narrative control over their IPs. But... hey, you never know.
I would like to see another avp movie, however, it needs to be in the future and rated R. But as far as I’m concerned, the avp movies are canon. I’ve been playin with ideas, and I’m convinced an ancient predator found the derelict on LV-426 thousands of years ago. If I marathoned avp-resurrection, I could have a whole thesis
The best predator of Xenomorphs would be a wasp like creature that targeted the ovomorph and face hugger stages but was able to inject acid neutralising paralytic venom into the adults..
Not entirely true all engineers did was modify them for war and genocide people misunderstood it David did not create the xnemorphs there DNA was already in the black goo
Don't we already know the answer? David created them using the black slime. After experimenting on the woman and you last see him with all the humans on the ship. David makes them using all the ships crew to perfect them.
No I think they are moving away from that because it was a stupid idea and completely ruins the mystery of the xeno, i think the black goo comes from the xeno’s themselves and were being harvested by the engineers to make bio weapons using their dna(black goo) and they ended up destroying themselves because they got too cocky and thought they could control it.
I'm tired of this same old alien creator of living things for some really stupid reason creates a bioengineered plague to kill that life Why does everything has to have huge poorly thought out grand storyline where can't badass aliens just be badass aliens
Xenomorhp Prime as a sci-fi horror action film would be phenomenal!

I’ve always had an appreciation for the stories written for the Dark Horse comics, but also always thought the stylized art was pretty darned ugly.
Yeah I get what you mean but it's a retro style art. You gotta appreciate that style, it depends what your expectations are.

King Alien Xenomorph On Xenomorph Prime & LV 426 ❤️
2:34 Pretty unimaginative for something so important
Why did they discontinue the alien vs predator crossover? In my opinion, it was cool!
I do think they will do something AVP eventually under Disney/Fox, just not sure when.

@@tgiacin435My idea has always been to have only Predators and Aliens and no humans using subtitles.
I spent alot of hours in avp3
Just waiting for a 4th game😝
Here goes humans again doing what we always do
Watching UA-cam again...

Renny Harlin ALIEN 3 almost have The Xenomorph Prime aka The Xenomorphs Homeworld ❤
Glass the entire planet
What do they eat on Prime?
Prime rib
@@bobjones-m3p Your mom
Nah they eat them brothers
The other creatures
@@nightlasher What other creatures?
How xenomorphs has home planet and they need human hosts so who they use on their planet for hosts
They dont need humans they can inpregnante any species
Maybe other indigenous life forms on the planet
They can use any living creature as a host, not just humans.
Not entirely true all engineers did was modify them for war and genocide people misunderstood it David did not create the xnemorphs there DNA was already in the black goo
xenomorph from the movie was created by David as goods new creation to destroy space jokeys
Different continuity I think. I could be wrong but I think this is Canon to the Predator universe but not the Alien universe.
Don't we already know the answer? David created them using the black slime. After experimenting on the woman and you last see him with all the humans on the ship. David makes them using all the ships crew to perfect them.
Yea that's the answer right there, I think. Or maybe the engineers created a different version of them
Anything from the pretentious movies by Scott is NOT CANON.
