SRK is actually incredibly funny. He is very introverted but he's so fast-witted that you may not realize it in most interviews. Many people will tell you he is not the best actor but his star power comes from his charm. No one even comes close to matching his charisma and that is why he is the undisputed King of Bollywood.
I've never heard of him but I can see why just from this interview why he's popular

SRK in Bollywood is known for his super quick wit and charm. He goes from sweet, intellectual, philosophical, flirty, respectful, kind, witty, humble, confident, in a matter of minutes! He's the most well-spoken actor across the board, in the industry. Stars in the Bollywood climate today do not his articulacy anymore.

Great actor, crush of millions and half the world knows him. LITERALLY. Very humble and kind despite the crazy success he had. He has a degree in Mass Communication btw.

Shahrukh is so charming and funny! You can check out his interview with AIB shot in his own home, it's really fun to watch his more relaxed and savage side. It's mostly in English but you might need some translations still for the hindi.

You should watch some of his interviews. He's absolutely charming, charismatic and smart. Then his movies are great. For me Indian movies are a special genre of movies. They should be appreciated as they are without trying to compare them with other types of cinema. Some hate them, some love them.

Wow! He is everything you and the commenter have said. He's also very caring. We all hear about producers or cast members pampering other members on set, but beyond that Srk would pay attention to the little things. He personally fetched a chair for an older actress on set so she wouldn't have to stand for long. This totally amazed her. Another actor was acting on one of the very hot sets when he suddenly felt a fan blowing directly on him. He was stunned to see that Srk had fetched a fan and was the one holding the fan on him.
I also like that SRK is very self-deprecating. He is also full of contradictions. He is almost always late to meetings and shoots, but he is the hardest worker on set. He spends long hours at work, but is totally in love with his family. He does a lot of charity, but you will never hear it from him unless he is inspiring other folks to join in a campaign. On screen he can be dangerous and cruel, just to turn around and make you howl with laughter and tears in equal measure. And yes, I am always grinning back at the screen when he is talking. Thanks for this lovely surprise.
I think Shah Rukh is the Indian actor with the most foreign fans, who consider him their crush (including myself), for many good reasons, the man is great, cool, humble, sweet, funny and smart. You have to react more of his interviews

Above looks, above body, above success, above everything is the fact that how fascinating and amazing he is as a human being which is what makes me love him from the deepest core of my heart. He is one of the very few people I love for their persona. If someone gets to know him deeply, then they will eventually fall in love with who he is and his presence. It might sound I'm being biased but these are facts. Inspite of him being so successful, he tries to be cool, never makes you feel his aura and makes you comfortable. He's a person who is extremely humble, down to earth, self-depricating, humorous, respectful, gentle, super intelligent, witty and charming, he is shy and never expresses his lows to anyone but also the one who believes to think ourselves as the best to make the best happen to us. This generation needs to hear him, the way he talks about women, the way he respects women, I think no one else can and this is also clearly seen in his roles. He is so well spoken which is one of the qualities people really appreciate about him. What I wanted to explain is not that he's perfect, definitely he is not perfect but he is that guy which every brother, father, sister, mother and friend needs. I always say one thing and also I strongly believe in it that there are two possibilities, one is that you love SRK like crazy or you don't know him well, there's no in between.
