OK NOW THATS A REAL and Original Kabaddi, other versions you watched are more like updated, mixed and new versions, I don't even consider them Kabaddi game, It is originally played in Punjab. Between Punjab India and Punjab Pakistan, There used to be very famous matches between Punjab India and Pakistan, Its more like a wrestling as you have seen, Players are more buffed and built in this original version than being more lean. They showcase their physical strength and always played outdoors in soil never indoor on mattresses. Stoppers are known for their wrist grips and leg grips, as you saw those are their personal skills, in a team there is always a player who is known for his/her wrist grip and leg grip. This is like their tactic , its common to have a strong gripper in every team who is known for his gripping technique . This match was also held in Punjab as title and commentary was in Punjabi, when tournaments like this are held people from all parts of Punjab are coming to watch them, throughout many tournaments are happening in Punjab between big clubs and big teams etc. Every year there is an international tournament (world-cup) held by one political party in Punjab where now western countries specially European countries are participating, including women's international tournament , teams from Denmark, Norway, UK, etc are participating every year. Its Held in Punjab in outdoor stadium just like you watched, that's like a world cup of Kabaddi, and very interesting to watch . For me only this is the real Kabaddi in real original way, other ones I even dont like that much,

This is more dangerous version. One on one fight is better and fair then National style kabadi because in national style kabadi, 1 player is chased by multiple players which is unethical. One on one fight is good thats why it ispopular in Indian and pak punjab and Haryana ... As we r more poweful and believe in fair fight
