Ses versions de You were on my mind ou Ode to Billie Joe valent largement les originaux, enregistrés à Londres les arrangements sont aussi subtils que Gainsbourg à la même époque. C'était d'abord un interprète, après 72 ça perd beaucoup d'intérêt je vous l'accorde
