Some report that they have closed wallet but the wallet money has not come to their account and some say they have received ...so we investigated this and understood what is the case ....we come to a conclusion that wallet refund shall always happen but the time it takes to refund will depend on the method of topup to the phonepe wallet
Now, wallet topup can be either through linked bank account , debit card or credit card
a.)Wallet topup through credit card
If wallet money has been topped up through credit card , then credit card shall get refunded within maximum 9 days ...usually it gets refunded in 3 days time . If it takes more time, always helpful to raise a ticket
b.)Wallet topup through debit card
If wallet money has been topped up through debit card , the debit card account ( i.e the bank account which issues the debit card) shall get refunded within maximum 9 days ...usually it gets refunded in 3 days time . If it takes more time, always helpful to raise a ticket
c.) Wallet topup through linked bank account
If wallet money top through linked primary bank account , then refund immediate ...if doesn't happen , wait for 3 days ...if it gets further delayed, raise a ticket
Note, wallet money doesn't include any cash backs ...check refundable balance before closing the wallet
Wallet money shall get refunded to the original payment source but if that fails it shall be credited to linked primary bank account
If any debit card top up is done in last 7 days , you will not be able to close wallet
There are no deductions or charges.......
