In all demos and shootout I have watched, Xotic stratocasters always had the best tone. Maybe they just make excellent pickups, anyway I look forward to trying one out!

I think TonePaint(™) is the key to this. Black guitars sound much darker than Fiesta Red guitars, which sound happy and alive in a boisterous way.
