    Yes. Love my Prvke 21L, but that interior color is a nuisance. I've taken to clipping a tiny LED keychain light for searching for stuff in the rolltop section.
    Also, I found that adding a third-party elastic mesh on the outside of the bag (attached with small clips on the 4 attachment points) works wonders for stuffing a jacket or hat on the outside of the bag. Just a tip for users.
    Great review!

    Love your style, “matter of fact” and extremely useful info. Just bought the new 21L V2 and 31L V2. I ultimately returned the 31L, was afraid that it be too big for carry on/under seat on certain international airlines, and it felt a bit big for EDC/travel once I got to my destination . Agree with all the constructive criticism. Looks like Wandrd listened and fixed some things like the back panel padding, shoulder straps and stronger magnets. Overall better than the peak design (although the PD’s are made very well) but couldn’t get on with the floppy side panels. Everything would just fall to the bottom and didn’t feel secure that stuff would fall out the side if you weren’t super careful. So far after trying 12 camera travel brands/bags, I settled on Wandrd.

    Mine holds an entire 4x5 kit inc 4x5 field camera, 3 lenses, meter, loupe, dark cloth, cable release and 4 film holders. The film holders go into the top area in a wearable shoulder case. What I add in camera size it takes up the entire bottom case , I lose in lens size. But I need the large sekonic 758 for spot metering to zone the exposure since my least expensive sheet of film is $1,80 and most expensive, $7.50. Don't want to blow exposure at that cost. Same for a large, 6x loupe to focus on the ground glass.

      Glad we could be helpful! Yeah, the no-grip fit is maybe a limit, but most bags don't fit it these days (we've seen maybe Peak Design's or a couple LowePros). And I hope they switch that dark interior on a V2!

    I used the Peak Design and it was very comfortable, but it is so flawed in many ways. I spent two weeks walking around Madagascar and I came to hate the side access flaps. The hinge is on the wrong side, so you have to crane your neck to see what's inside if you don't take the pack off. Also there is no closure under the main flap on the top of the bag. This is a security risk and lets in every bit of dust you can think of. Another aspect that I found annoying, was you could only see things from the sides or the top. You couldn't see everything at once like you can where the back or the front of the bag opens. The origami dividers also waste a lot of space and are much more difficult to arrange than you think. I really don't know how the Peak Design gets all the rave reviews, I found it horrible and have since sold it.

    • @forewordco
      @forewordco  4 роки тому +1

      Hey Brian! Good question - the main compartment can indeed be one large compartment. It has a zippered divider, and the photo cushion section is also removable. It's one of the reasons we liked the bag - that it didn't NEED to be a photo bag if we didn't want it to be one in the future 🤙🏼

    Hey so I am looking to buy this bag idk if you’ll even respond but I am carrying a canon eos r with one lens and my mamiya RB with one lens. • @forewordco
      @forewordco  4 роки тому +1

      Hey Roberto! Yep, it is black but it has a reflective coating, so in certain lights it will take on a charcoal appearance. As far as an EOSR and a Mamiya RB, I bet it would all fit in the 31L version. The Mamiya might have to sit in the top compartment like I do with my XH1 w/ battery grip, but if that's okay I bet you're good!

  • @TheFuzzyskwerl

    Terrible for anyone who is taller or has a long back. No load adjustments so bag hangs low on your back and the top hangs backwards which increases the pulling effect on the straps. Would be better if they were able to have a harness system which had adjustability.
