What a great meeting with the most interesting assortment of early racers. In 1971 I went to Montlhery to a sports car race. It was a magic circuit the banking was in full operation and there was no better sight than the Matra Simca 670 v12 at full chat. I will always remember it screaming at full speed on the far side of the circuit made the hairs stand up on the back of your neck!
That's the best video coverage of this event I've seen: lots of weird and wonderful machinery, great access, nice weather. Was that Tim Gunn's latest cyclecar build rolling by? Thanks for bringing us along, Eddie.
