Gosh, there's nothin' better than a full-style live band lettin' it bloody well rock!
His attention slipped for a moment at the start of the clip, resulting in a vague smile. He then swiftly regained his composure. But then if you have a talent of this magnitude, you don't have to smile. You just play. And we ordinary mortals listen in awe, smile or not.
Albert Lee is one of the top 4 guitarists on earth.....this is just a sample of his expertise !!
Albert Lee is absolutely the finest guitar player.......ever to pick up the instrument..!

Albert Lee is like vintage wine, he just improves with age. I first saw Albert playing with Chris Farlowe's Thunderbirds in1968, he blew me away then, and has done ever since. An exceptional musician.
One of the best live versions of this classic number… absolutely superb!
This group is fantastic! Thought after ABBA there is nothing you can expect from Sweden.....and here we go Refreshments,. I love their style, their instrumentals and vocals! Can't wait when they come to PA rock the house!

ALBERT LEE - wonderful - THE BEST! Ever.
Albert Lee played with Chris Farlowe & the Thunderbirds back in the '60's. His playing was pretty phenominal way back then. It is so refreshing to see that real musicians still exist and so does rock & roll.

Oh I so want this band to come and play in England. and I knew of it in London or Anglia area. I would so go and watch them play. I think they are bloody good. Awesome and gives me tingles down my back.

A great tribute to the recently deceased Chuck Berry...what a band. Albert Lee is live and well...saw him a couple times at the Dakota (Mpls, MN) in 2015-16.

Glad I stumbled on this post. I am a fanatic of Chuck Berry, Stones, Beatles having grown up in the 60s in UK. I was chasing Piano Boogies and discovered Johan Blohm and thru him The Refreshments. They sound terrific and have a broader repertoire and range from Boogies to R&R to Classical. Great post!
