At my old elementary school you would feel the same way with the delay except it’s addressable. I got to pull the alarm for a drill and it took about 20 seconds before the strobes started to flash and an anditional 10 seconds for the horns to go. No wonder I always would see the flashing lights before the horns during the drills.
Nice video! I’m not surprised that the commanders didn’t sync, considering this is a late 80s panel. Must’ve been a fairly late install though since there were PS-DAs lol. Also, the reason why it took a while to activate is because the 5207 has a long activation delay, although I’m not sure if it does that as a verification delay or if the panel is just super slow.
Cool! Good system! A nice old sk 5207!! I have one, they are pretty nice, also have the 5208! Big difference between the two. The 5207 is a early to late 90’s panel.
Bit of a off topic question. Does some notifier panels require to punch in a little code if you are going to push the drill button or can you just push the drill button.
@@TheFirePanel but if the horns are working when u go to the pull station, doesn't that tell u the horns are working? I think you only have to check like 80% of the system, right? I mean, I did 100% checks, but by law it's like 80%

Nice! Those Commanders though are pretty darn loud. Yikes!
Great video 😉
The sync could be the panel putting out code 3 with the alarms set to code 3
he has a point
Great video 😀👍👍
At the start, I thought it was a #WhatAFireAlarmFail
Nice to see the older-ish SK System and pulls!

Got you again when you pulled down the station

So many of them!
To reset the 5207 you press reset then enter
Where is that
I think thats a 5207 panel
Conventional panels in commercial buildings just don’t fit in well nowadays.
@@TheFirePanel What buildings would still use conventional?
I love this
How come you don't pull the sirens and just visually check the strobes after the siren has been running for a min?

@@TheFirePanel oh okay, I gotcha. Doesn't the 5207s have walk test mode?
@@TheFirePanel gotcha. Good to know. Wasn't trying to imply anything, just curious.
OOF you dropped the keys. Keys.exe has top working
That's an old panel for sure
silent yikes.
Ugh that sync! 😑😬😬
Nice.
