RIBBIT is a massive jack-of-all-trades mod, based on taking Deltarune Chapter 1's world and telling an entirely new story about frogs, ghosts, and the mysterious powers that surround them both. Half a joke mod, and half a character-driven narrative, revisit Deltarune's familiar locations, in a new context, with new custom content, and New Super Mario Bros U Deluxe for the Nintendo Switch.
YOU the Frog, the last of their kind, finds themselves abandoned at a nearby orphanage... for approximately six minutes before a strange girl (the first of her kind??) with glowing pink eyes shows up and drags them both down into an alternate realm filled with YOU's long-croaked frog ancestors. There, they find out that the realm has come under a devastating invasion of a bizarre breed of ghosts called the MOTHERSPAWNs, reducing most living creatures to ashes, their reach spread over most of the land, an apocalypse in the making.
Together, along with Prince Noyno and his barely sufferable ego, they embark on a mission to kill the two people responsible for the invasion... the ghosts of YOU and Susie's mothers. By the way, Lancer is also there, and he's got, like, muscles, just thought you should know that even though everyone is dead.

it should be noted that the joke ending at the end will only trigger if you tried shooting mettaton. if you fail the quiz question in any other way (time runs out, got it wrong) and get the heal, the fight will progress without interruption. that'd be terrible if it didn't...

While you're here and I have a chance to have your ear; is Susie in the My Future ending the same as the Susie in Ribbit? I can't remember if she was confirmed human before becoming a robot.
Also, why DO Kris' eyes look weird? They're red. Red eyes are weird.

I loved the story. It was my favorite part. I prefer tragedies with happy endings (Like take a look at Undertale, or HOME which is a fanmade sequel to OFF)... but well made regular tragedies are really good, too.
Even though YOU's life was hopeless, they did something important. They did a ton of important things.

are there any actual differences between a regular playthrough and a new game+ playthrough other than the ending you can get?
Bed skip is possible, hence allowing to get Wrist Protector (Text skipper) and Punch Card (Exploit glitch to skip certain events).
Possibility to skip certain cutscenes.
The window title changes top "Fingers are still crossed, kinda ache though".
Finishing NG+ allows playing "my future" section at the beginning to get to see the 3rd ending.
Other then these changes nothing else comes to ind.

wait how do you get the true uncertain ending, i've seen that susie backstory dialogue but i didnt get the scene where the fight pauses.
Was it during the 2nd playthrough?

The music folder says it’s SH2 Laura but I don’t hear anything like it.

I listened to Susie's story and I still got the Remains Uncertain ending. Where do I talk to Noelle? I've talked with her every time I saw her. Do I need to find a way to not kill the dog and the window enemy in the lodge to "finish peacefully"?
Okay, this is how I do it:
1) Finish the game once
2) Make a new save file (You should have the "Finger crossed" as window title
3) Get to the end game with the file
4) Before finishing the game, talk to Noyno
This should trigger the Susie different ending
May I ask how to beat the "Your thoughs" fight? I haven't been able to, do you need to have all the placevos before in other saves or something? I don't know what to do in It.
To beat the "Your thoughts" fight, you need to join "Bad Idea" + "Focus".
I'm not sure about having all placebos honestly.
I think it's a requirement but not 100% sure.
I'm sure that you need to do the finale where Susie ask you to find an answer because you listened to her story + Noelle dialogues.
@@sorma007 well I will play the game again anyway so It is not much of a deal, maybe It is a required as I think I didn't pick Up the one that halfs HP of everyone and the words in the back after some time said something like "there is 9 placebos, did you pick them Up? Use the Skip chapter act to see where they could be, well now back to do this again" and then the dialogue loops.
I guess It is probably necessary as using one of the acts in the fight says what placebos are in each area, so I guess thats what happens.
But thanks for telling me, I will like to read the story again as It seems the ending are more interesting.

But I don't think Shamegrinder placebo is necessary as it's not necessary to break the thoughts.
@@masterblaster38 collecting all 9 placebos is not required to beat the fight, the recap only points this out in case you're a completionist, and are curious enough to experiment with all the items. but when you know what you're doing, you can just go directly for the two placebos required to beat it, and have the whole puzzle be over in 3 turns.

It was just strange because I just used all the ACT options multiple times, attacked defended and nothing happened, no attack came neither something happened even if I tryed a lot of things and no items or HP Max went Up like in the video, I guess I maybe just got the normal ending and not the special ending that happens when you do pacifist + hearing all the dialogue. (I just went and seems that yes, my first playtrough ended with the "normal" ending or at least my first save file)
Tho It is strange that the Game still offers you to start the puzzle if you can't end It.

I heard Susie's story, but what about Noelle? When are you supposed to talk to her for having that ending?
Each time you see her basically.
And before finishing the game, go back where Lancer put the hard and dev path.
There should be again Noelle with the info that the developer wanted to implement her calls like Papyrus in Undertale.
@@sorma007 I talked to Noelle every time except that last one, and for some reason I was still able to get into My Future? I even got the Susie and Noelle backstory and everything
@@MantaKizaemonFTW I was wrong in fact, you only need to play the game again and listen to Susie Story before finishing the game the 2nd time.
The update was new and by doing what I thought it was logical, I presumed that talking to Noelle was necessary, my bad.

Nope, they are still present I think.
I did the YOU wish myself, about the Ralsei ending I didn't do it but I'm 99% positive is still there

What does talk to Noelle mean?
You have the option through out the adventure to talk to Noelle numerous times, When I made the video, I thought you need to talk to her every time in order to get a different ending, unlocking you the "My future ending" but you only need to talk to Susie in NG+ AND listening to her story before finishing the game.
We need a Noyno ending
Well, Noyno gets at least an happy ending. Not too much in details but he gets it
