is incredible Caedrel explanation and insight on this game
true, he has been a pro player himself and basically a big fan of the game, i hope we see him one day as a coach maybe
@@REKKII444I think he said he had been approached for coaching but turned it down because it wouldn't be worth doing compared to streaming
@@pretsel5132 he said he'll only consider it if they have a chance at winning worlds
@@REKKII444may be if shy approaches him.. 😂
I started watching him for his insights and pick n ban explanations!
Even as a master player you learn daily how pro play works (world of difference)

@@rebelfriend1818 we're like 500 subs off need 100k pls tell your family 😭
lpl did it a few times already
Wait, wataheeelll, g2?
G2 pulling the season 4-6 strat of laneswaps is so much fun. Only thing that was missing was the sion killing wolves lvl 1, dying to them, and teleporting to lane for xp advantage for the full season 4-6 pro lol experience.
It's fun for a series but I hope it doesn't become meta again. It eventually became such a boring meta.
@@apassinghobo it won't get meta because pretty much every player above Master understand how to counter role swap i have no idea how did BDS got outclassed so hard.. like just go mid and wait for them to show its not so fck hard or just match the fck tank in sidelane and you still get the lead if they swap because its easier to take bot tower. i get why move jinx out of lane fopr first 3 levels but no way after that you get outclass so hard that you cant match them ...
A very simple explanation could be they never encountered it. and/or in practice and vod review they were never or not often enough confronted to this so they forgot hwo to deal with that maybe the coaches didn't even tell them how to deal with it since it hasn't been done in so long @@vevymotivation
@@cosanostra5333 first of all trust me you get this a lot in soloQ aswell also every single time when you dont know how to counter something just send the botlane mid and play from there its a really simple concept and its really effective just fck the entire game send the the botlane mid and you solve the entire problem you get prio than you can always match them they can't run away from you when you have perma prio mid .
@@vevymotivation Dude’s just talking his ass out lmao.
BB is the MVP. Takes a good head on your shoulders and not having an ego to play the “tank down 2 levels and 1k gold for half the game” role. His selflessness is crucial to this gameplan working out and you can clearly see how much of an impact he has
Not like you have a choice. You are a team. You play for the team.
ice really showed that hes not just a zeri merchant this series, played insane
Iil bro, crownie died for this? We dont talk about game 1

Caedrel, I know you're not getting any sleep, but these playoff casts are just awesome. Props man.
Riot really gutted smolder and then teams were like “oh wait, there’s another op infinitely stacking dragon”
at least he doesnt execute at 225 stacks (always executes but less hp and much harder to execute)
he also isnt a point and click 1 ability bot that does 60%hp with true damage burn
at least champion is somewhat balanced even if fucking gigantic late game
fuck smolder
Somewhat balanced lmao. Sure bud
@@Beahemothsol is harder to execute and thus feels more fair to a lot of players. and a champ “feeling” balanced is just as important as actually being balanced
@@yurilopes420 ... smolder is trash right now. you're just bad. if smolder takes 60% of your HP with one Q, you're playin' Marksmen/Assassin/Mage and feed the hell out of smolder for 20+ minutes. and that ain't smolder's fault at all.
@@bharatcarballo5144 I literally said he doesn't do that anymore... reading comprehension too hard?

I have the feeling that even though G2 is the strongest EU team this last two splits, they won't do much at MSI. Hope I'm wrong though.
Is the same argument as always, g2 need stronger competitions in LEC because this last 2 splits they have never been pushed to the limits, which most likely will happen at MSI vs LCK/LPL
The gap is not getting closer so you are probably right
It’s the classic TSM problem. They’re good enough to win their region, but lack competition domestically
G2 swapped this season from their usual playstyle away (early stomp comps with draven/Kalista on Hansama) and forced them self to play weakside or late game comps. Only to be able to face asian Teams.
Maybe if we are lucky, this time they will male semi finals :)
Wow the same thing will happen as every other year omg
Dude I am a G2 fan all the way but this game 3 was BRUTAL they just broke bds.
Caps dad as last pic before spoiler plant is insane
Everyone was checking how in god did MAD lose faster than BDS after that game 3
1:06:43 - I think BDS have cracked it unless they troll here
1:06:45 - They trolled it🤣
That first game was so entertaining 😹 i was laughing so hard at the end when asol was running the map
Have we started cutting more of the gameplay recently? Like at 20:57 caps gets engaged on then it just clips away with his flash down not showing what happend?
I really like seeing a bit of a shakeup to the stale lane and role meta, even if Riot is probably going to shut this down if it becomes too popular.
As somebody who saw the lane swap period of pro, its fun and exciting the first few times. The moment everyone knows what they doing, you are watching players cs for 15 minutes.
@@jannecoolen2816the same way the first few udyr games were cool and novel in the chem tank Meta before he became boring as fk
@@jannecoolen2816 lane swap is fine when it is mixed with standard lanes. it adds variety to the game. if every game is a lane swap it will get boring like in former times
probably only caps of all 10 players played some lane swap games. (and that was after lane swap meta) huge respect for Dylan bring it back
2:58 "Itd be great if you could at least make it interesting" hahaha "as the prophecy fortold"
Broken Blade owns Adam in lane since the Adam teleport incident
Caedrel is a quacking legend. Name me another person that makes even comparably enjoyable league content. Caedrel made me feel joy once again in my life.
Caedrel was on fire this series. He's becoming better and better
i have to ask what was sheo doing the whole time game 2 in terms of gank positioning? , didn't cover bot lane , didnt take neutrals really , just always looks to be in random spots, didnt counter gank with nuc resulting in him dying , he took camps early jax was behind and did more early ???.
so what g2 did, game 1 and 3 was really smart, but idk if this will work vs. LPL and LCK , one of the key reasons this swapping strat works is sheo legit was lost all game , in lck and lpl last time we saw a lane swap, jungler just punished the adc and support by gnaking and killing them with support rotate ( 3 vs 2) or having free presure on MID and some teams didnt even play into the swap , with just constant roam from mid and jungle( so dont let them have sol) as u mentioned generally u would only want to lane swap when ur 2v2 is weeker , so even in the 3v4 or 3v3 they(jinx lane) would usually be weaker ( in the rotate or gank), also voli is really bad into lane swap , were as lee , rell, xin zhao etc can omega shut it down
I agree completely this strat against good eastern teams and g2 gets smacked bds played bad and still could’ve won 2 of these games if they didn’t run it down
But heres the secret they did this vs BDS not against an LCK or LPL team. Maybe, just maybe and stick with me here… they did it precisely because it would work against BDS. I mean ruining the top lane for the starplayer who bds is known to play for? And if they can practice such a strat to such a high lvl in the time of a few days maybe they can also prepare for opponents whose weakness is not this exact strategy…
@@erghstragh761 the amount of practice this alludes to , kind of defeats your point , as the caster pointed out they know the reaction for nearly every situation ، this means they spent a lot of their time on this strat and using it Just for this series seems like a huge time sink with the amount of teams to prep for in play-offs and then MSI , u have limited time any strategies that are strictly one off are hugely time inefficient unless there for a major finals ( Regional , MSI , World's ) or its a repeatable strat, its also why u don't see many niche strats that are commonly known can work with the right setup that much in pro play well apart from the other issues like execution etc
@@asimramay1069this is very good practice for msi.bb gets used to playing from behind so he can continue this play-making 2nd support style if he gets outskilled at msi or worlds.they can also just swap lanes a lot more confidently, and the champs they had to master for this strat (sion, jinx, asol) fit the new g2 philosophy a lot better than draven, kalista and non-scaling top laners.they focus on mid-to-late-game macro and usually int early in order to learn how to play stressfull situations,so now they can play from behind if they get outlaned early and can just scale
To find the game you want, here is the timestamp: *no spoiler*

That was great commentary. I've never seen this side before and I'm super impressed you can hold your tongue so well during the official LEC casts. It is more fun this way, though.
Caps is the main character, we are just living in his universe
i really enjoy when you explain everything man! you are like a corean caster, always explainning the macro and micro of the game and what is going on in the mind of the teams!
and yeah....it has been painful to watch BDS get macro gapped in such a way! not even in solo q you get to see such a slaguhter! i feel bad for them!
25:50 Caedrel enjoyed this one
G2 shaking up the meta with strats from a decade ago!
The lane swap strategies were giga5head but it seemed like over kill on last game. Aphelios kaisa matchup is generally aphelios favored in lane anyways as well as janna into rakan, so swapping as an adc with low waveclear until infernum away from a favorable matchup seems like they were cooking a little too hard.
not really, they just knew that sion would always be suseful just as a meat shield whereas rumble m=behind is basically a caster minion
the point is not just to get bot lane ahead, but to keep enemy top behind.tanks like sion and zac can come back a lot easier than champs like aatrox or rumble,so as long as bb doesn't die while laneswapped the game becomes a 5v4 for g2
Thank you for being so descriptive of what’s going on in game! It’s really cool to see exactly what is making a strategy work. Also g2 is so easy to love man!
I love how excited caedrel got when he realized there is another lane swap in game 3
i heard the word "rek'sai" more in the first 2min 40 sec of this vid than the entirety of my life before that
Basiclly any team that has Caps in eu is the team thats gonna be first hes just levels ahead of everyone else in eu.
yet he's getting trashed every years at worlds by 18yo asians
@@neil2s2He said EU multiple times. Can you not read?
"I have never seen game more over in my life" is a funny thing to say in 16:46 since some teams actually managed to lose the game by that time
Game 3 is probably the most dominant game I’ve ever seen and it still took g2 5 more minutes to end than it took t1 to beat mad lions at msi last year. The 16:47 meme will live on forever
It probably wont. After all, the 14:57 didnt
The lane swapping was definitely interesting but if you watch lck/lpl it is a pretty fast realization that it would never work against them 😅
chinese aatrox would 1v2 jinx and lulu easy
Insanely entertaining games. MUCH more engaging than “farm till 30 and fight for soul”. I was SURE the game was lost for both teams over and over and over (except for the naut incident and the zac game. Those two were cooked).
Theres nothing overtly written in the rules about getting fined for FF'ing. Im curious if there's some bylaw or sponsorship agreement that teams just *wont*. Thatd be a separate thing entirely. LEC rules are public; the written rule for "gameplay victory"
=> "An instance of competition on the Summoner's Rift map in League of Legends
which is played until a winner is determined by whichever of the following
occurs first: (1) Destruction of a Nexus (2) Surrendering (3) Forfeiting (4)
Awarded Game Victory
"
There are absolutely no written rules in the LEC/EMEA rulebook about FF'ing (surrender is when a player can no longer continue playing, thats why its separated). Edit to make sure youtube isnt deleting my comments haha
This was a fun series, community is so miserably toxic

Your cuts are way better compared to last time I watched, thanks.
my friend and i did a lane swap in solo q where i was adc and he was top. never had an easier win top side, we lost drag control but had top control till 15 then went to other lanes to take tower. it was very fun having all the gold funneled to me and their top laner irrelevant the entire game
its the goddamn top laner jumpscare all over again. you never know where they are once they disappear on the map
Hans can't smolder? Don't worry, we can put Caps on Asol.
This strat works so well against young players, who don’t know how to lane swap and easily have mental break-down. It’s going to be hard to pull this off against LCK and LPL teams, specially team with veterans.
This is the first LEC I'm watching all year. Is this normal? Coming from the LCS playoffs I suddenly think we have a chance vs EU at MSI
Watching this compared to Asian Playoffs makes me really believe EU will stomp MSI
EASY
I don't even think they would be favoured vs PSG with the drop off in level of play for LEC.
Watching Caedrel commentary is simply the best. The memes, the snarky comments, the unfiltered flaming.
15:17 who needs to move their way up here is the observer! I mean alo alo - why stay on this drake that nobody cares about?? go top to tower take! fuck picture in picture - go were the action is an ZOOM IN!
So happy to see lane swap is back! It really added dimension to the game, I hate how Riot killed it and tried to force everything into 1-o-1-2
omg the anti spiler plant is actually so clutch
i always wondered why teams stoped do it... kek now its back and everyone is surprised pikachu
damn this anti spoiler plant tricked me=its working!
Very nice series. I'm a bit sad for your twitch chat full of depressed and angry mobber spamming 'my region so bad' while a very intense macro game is rolling out in front of them.
Bro this series has gotta be the most painful series I’ve watched
Man you are making the best way to watch pro league. I hope you are enjoying yourself and find the energy to keep doing this. Thanks man😊
Caedrel doesn’t even know that you can’t build terminus and ldr at the same time 😭
1:25:25 holyyyy gigachad
I don't understand how lane swap is so surprising even though it had been a meta for so long before...
Because they made top tower way tankier for the first 5 minutes to prevent it
G2 really did hit them with a "lil bro" with that lane swap experience
CAEDREL SPEAKING ABSOLUTE FACTS! people litterally attacked me when i said these dylan falco drafts...ARE UTTERLY USELESS....FOR G2!
For any other team (but fnc) these drafts would be groundbreaking.
But for G2? these drafts are LITERALLY THE OPPOSITE of what the G2 playwers want and are best at.
Also dylan litterally FORCES them onto these champs and then they STILL throw themselves at the opposition levels 2 and 3! -.- SO STOP DYLAN! give them what they NEED not what your tactics WANT! They dont want to play that way. Maybe they literally cant.
I watched live, then went to feed the editor in the basement. By the time i got back the video was up
G2 playing Lulu so Mikyx can't self hook himself into the enemy team
let editor out of the basement
Just listening to all the macro explained is information gold. Subbed 100% earned info
Holy fuck that game 3 was how I feel playing the game... me being on BDS's side.
I haven't been paying attention did Caedrel go to Korea for a haircut
you know a game is over when it 13 minutes...AND THE ENEMY SUPPORT LULU is 1.5 k up AND THE SAME LEVEL as your top laner
so good that this meta is back i love it
this was CRAZY, so good to watch omfg
Absolute first class 1st game!!! Love it!
Who also refreshed like each minute to wait for the video? #Rats xD
No regrets
This only shows that having Caps is enough to win LEC. No need to overcomplicate.
G2 is caps and cap's minions i love it and i think this is how we win internationaly no cope
Love your videos caedrel, keep at it! Keep being you man, you are helping me get through the days atm with your entertainment. Nice to focus on something else that the bad stuff bro
BDS is tilted to all hell in game 3 lmao. Never seen this in a playoff style gamr before
Azir went 100% pick rate 25% win rate. It was a GOOD day.
In terms of creativity g2 are absolute monsters
MSi is about to be a lot of fun.
49:42 when my mom comes into my room while im gaming
BDS needs therapy after that game 3
In game 1: how does BB have a gold lead on Adam at 10 mins? 21cs down and died twice xD
Caps stahp jesus what a monster👀
Do you think this could be viable as a nilah lane?
Me and my one friend said this was gonna happen when the lane changes were announced back in july last year. but reddit and everywhere we posted about it called us idiots. and funny enough we got banned from the subreddit for the idea.
I can only imagine how Gen.G would tear G2 apart with their macro if G2 tried this on them
game 3 was a violation
The anti spoiler plant is more exciting than the games. I hope it gets highlight clips soon.
What do you need for a game to be exciting?
holy shit I didn't know BDS had a Dota team
so if G2 wins spring who will take their playin spot? winter or spring #2?
The team with the second highest points will take the 2nd spot.
Vitality needs to win the split to get a spot. bds and fnatic can get it by getting second or if vitality get second then I don't know how it ends up with the points.
@@vreeze33if Im right. If Vit finished second and FNC finished 3rd fnc will go to MSI, same for BDS I think.
Macro masterclass got me acting up
So depressing no team in EU can bring G2 to 5 games, but maybe BDS in summer can since 0 games in winter, 1 games in spring it must be 2 games in summer
I just wanna see a good thresh game :/
Lane swapping shouldve came back such a long time ago. Not sure why it took so long
What a game by g2 , truly hitting bds at there weak point. During game I was seeing a lot of negativity where people were saying stuff like they can't pull it off against other regions or this is just bronze lvl game play blah blah. The thing is these days afk ping ponging has become so common that if anyone goes with different approach to the game they would get called inter and troll. The 2nd thing is b.s vs international teams so my fellows no one can beat eastern in ping ponging waves and classic l.o.l style you have to innovate. This game showed g2's ability to understand weak points of opponent and hit them where it hurts. Bds lack temperament and mental and they hit them there, you could clearly see how mentally boomed bds were. Even vs fnc g2 fought them in bloody early games which is the single defining point of fnc and murdered them. So yeah they are trying to learn new approaches within the resources they have.
I don't know about msi and who cares right now we have an lec final to win. It is clear that no fan favorite is gonna win international tournament either way so keep hating 😂.
G2fight 🤞 t1 fighting
