Just got one of these on my route. And I’m finally having issues. Thought it was a slack chain switch but it self resets after messing around with different combos of checking kicks, cycling power, etc. Still unsure 🤷♂️
you cant leave the lift at the bottom landing or it will bottom out, the valves are garbage. tell the customer to leave it at the top if not using frequently
Can I ask a question. Where does the TPS sensor (pit sensor) wire go. I have the 2 leads (red and black) with no ends on them. Could they have been just twisted together? The platform and floor has no sensor.
I'm familiar with the term TPS sensor, what does it monitor. The only thing I can think of is if you're talking about the slack chain switch, like if it is in the pit below the lower landing.
@@MQElevators I see the label on this video also. I bought this lift and disassembled it my self to transport to my house. It worked fine before disassembly. I took the very least apart. This is the only wire I cannot figure out. It is labeled TPS and on the board it says Pit Sensor. There was no pit sensor. These wires have no ends on them and might have been twisted together? The wires are on both of the chain sensors. I really appreciate that you even answered me. I have looked for hours for a wiring diagram or instillation manual. Thanks again.
I can get a digital copy of the prints to you. If the wires are from the switch on the bottom of the chain, it sounds like a slack chain switch. Those wires will need to go to the terminal block on the main board, that switch is a part of the safety circuit and your lift won't work without a good safety circuit. I will be infront of that unit tomorrow morning and I will confirm what the TPS switch is and get a copy of the prints.
@@MQElevators If you could email them. I have all the wires to the chain switches. This is a red and black wire that goes to the board on the right side that says pit switch and the sticker on the wires says TPS. I could send you a pic but do not know how on here. Is there a way to private message
I'm not sure if there is. You could DM on Instagram or email me at mchlquilty@gmail.com. The pit switch is the stop button that goes underneath the lift for when you go under it to work. Its usually mounted to the unit itself on the rail side
What does it mean when a unit goes into redundancy? I had a tech attend to a repair on this model and they reset the unit but don't know the cause or some of the causes for this issue. The elevator was not working and was stuck between the floors.
I have a savaria 1504. Almost 3 years old. When it gets to the top the door will not open. 3 days ago it worked great. Next morning it would not open. Tried resetting it by turning top and bottom off and turning electric off. Still nothing. Please help!
Some of the incline platforms the alarm goes off for like ten seconds I think when powered up. The straight vertical ones I only know of the stop switch or alarm button that would sound the alarm.

Sometimes they can do some weird things if the batteries get low as well.

I agree.
There’s anti creep switch at the bottom that’s suppose to re-level the platform.
How do you raise the platform if it is stuck a little below ground level?
You should have a technician look at it.

There is a few things that could put it in to redundancy, going through the prints you would be able to find the issue.
Did you just have to tighten the chains and reset the alarms?
You have to reset the 2 switches and its all good
MQ Elevators are the switches just watching for slack?
Yes
Tc 8to 14 bypasses slack chain

It’s tough to troubleshoot a problem in the comment section on UA-cam.
Question power is off at the disconect when I lift the handle I get a alarm going off. any ideas

Hi , could you share a print ? I have the same issue sitting below the floor no blueprints .
Yes I will see if I have one at home to share
@@MQElevators thank you
Hate those fucking lifts
Controller should be outside
