- On April 18, we pulled out nine dogs that were at a dog meat farm in Dangjin, South Korea.
While dog meat is technically not illegal in Korea, the practice continues, and dogs are kept in inhumane conditions, far worse than any legal livestock.
Animal rights groups strive to close down those shelters by investigating and reporting illegal conditions, and bring in government authorities to force the farm to close.
Once the farm is closed, the dogs must be placed in safe locations, which is difficult. There are few shelters in the country that can intake a large number of dogs at once.
We, Shindogs, are now assisting in the management of Asan Cheonsawon Shelter, and this video documents the dogs being pulled out of the farm.
Big thanks to GAON, Rebel Rescue South Korea, and all the volunteers who gave their time and resources to this labor of love.

Dogs and cats are God's gifts to humans as our family members, loyal companions, and best friends. That is why God entrusted humans with the tasks of being the guardians and caregivers of animals for they are weak, helpless, defenseless, and without a voice. Therefore, it is animal cruelty to the extreme to continue the dog meat trade and keeping the dogs in inhumane conditions. Any human who is found guilty of these offenses is answerable to and punished by the laws of God and men. Thank you Shindogs and Asan Cheonsawon Shelter for closing the dog meat farm in Dangjin, South Korea and rescuing these precious lives. Justice for all the dogs that have died here and in other places is long overdue. But I am hoping that this is the beginning of the end of all dog meat farms and trade in this country and also in other countries that deal with dog meat and cat meat farms and trade.
Dogs nor cats aren't God's gifts to humans. Bible doesn't teach so. Dogs are scavengers and stray dogs to God and cats are stray cats. God tells to respect and help animals in need but having pets that live in the houses with people is completely worldly thing. God is against dog meat eating but the reason why dogs can't be eaten is that they are unclean animals. Bible says in Leviticus 11 that every animal that has paws is unclean and therefore can't be eaten. God also tells to treat cattle humanly before killing so the only things God punishes those dog farmers for are that they were enabling an unclean animals' eating or eating dog or cat meat themselves and for treating the dogs inhumanly before killing.
Dear God I hope bring wrath and destruction to the demons that tortured and killed your beautiful creatures. Give unending grace and love to all those you sent to rescue them. Bless them always
