We're in the same boat, man. The 40s is the perfect age to start over-you're not too old, and you have a lot of experience.
@@salvatoremacri3343 Thanks Sal
If I was starting over in my mid 40s I'd be tempted to buy a van, hit the road and become a full time van lifer!
I was considering that when I lived in Switzerland
“Life really does begin at forty. Up until then, you are just doing research.”. Carl Jung. Good luck mate.
Love this
@@Phillip_Deaneage is only a number
Love this too!!!!!
You’re still young my friend !
The older I get the more I realize how important it is to start over.
It keeps you young and on your toes
It's never too late to start again, I have done it a few times. Good luck.
I'm 41 and i feel like I can still experience life to the fullest. Excercise and nature are key to my well-being
I hit 40 last november.
Im trying out new hobbies & trying to make new friends.
Expat in Australia 🇦🇺
Thanks 🙏
Starting over! Thank you for your importation. Looking forward to following your journey
I'm 51 and starting all over again. Just like you, I've been an ex-pat for the last 32 years. Kids are grown-up and settled, split up with the Mrs (not my decision) but luckily we have a property that when split gives me a nice, tidy sum to be able to buy something outright in the UK. I did consider hitting the road and getting a nice van, I do a lot of solo, long distance hiking so that itch has been scratched really. I'm looking forward to some peace & solitude, maybe the Scottish borders or the Western Highlands, and doing what makes me happy. Good luck on your journey & thanks for posting this video. ATB
Thanks for sharing your story. It sounds like you're embarking on an exciting new chapter, and I can certainly relate to the mix of emotions that come with starting over. Like you, I've spent many years as an ex-pat, and now I'm ready to embrace new adventures.
I'm glad to hear that you're considering van life-it offers such a unique blend of freedom and exploration. Your experience with solo, long-distance hiking sounds incredible, and it's great that you've been able to scratch that itch. The Scottish borders and the Western Highlands are stunning choices for finding peace and solitude, perfect for reconnecting with what makes you happy.
Wishing you all the best on your journey. Thanks for sharing and for the inspiration.
I'm 60 and starting over, strike while the irons hot ! Who's that woman that's 116?
Maria Branyas Morera I believe ! What a great achievement, Great to hear from you have you any goals in place?
My advice would be to get fit
Your here who hoo

BOSS Nature Vibes There Mate 🙏🙏💚💙
Good luck with the fresh start
It's never too late to start over mate. I'm in the same position, aged 42 and trying to start over in terms of changing career path. Thanks for the video and the positive vibes.
Thank you for leaving your comment.
Its the perfect time to start over 40 is young and you still have your life yo ork on you still have your 50s 60s 70s 80s and 90s so its the perfect yomw to start over #amy#
Good😊
Never to late! Great video and looking forward to see your next chapter in life 🙂I had worked abroad for a some years, came back to Denmark and started when I was 40 getting a "High School" degree so I could enter the university. Finished my BEng degree a few years ago and in 6-7 month, I'll be graduating with a MSc in Engineering...and I'm 51 now! Sure, there were a few "hick-ups" along the way, but I'm close and I'll still have some 18-20 years ahead of me before I can retire. Midlife crisis or reinvent myself? Maybe part of it, but mostly to change career and more fun job / possibilities in the future.
Thank you so much for your positive and encouraging message. Your journey is truly inspiring, and it’s wonderful to hear how you've reinvented yourself and pursued your dreams. Your story is a great reminder that it’s never too late to make meaningful changes in life.
A great time to start a new life you go for it wishing you every happiness❤
Thank you very much for your support ❤️
A mans best years are 40 to 55
The only thing stopping you, is you. Get it
I live in Thailand and all my life saving was stolen when I was 64 2 years before my pension was due and because I retired at 42 I don't get a full pension I had to sale my car and most of what I owned to get me through to the pension date and in Thailand its not easy to work but I started again at 64 years old now I'm 68
You could make a video about your stolen lifetime saving. So dramatic.
I’m in my 40s too and have the concerns you just addressed. Loved this video and your authenticity. Looking forward to watching your journey.
Thank you very much.
You can do it once you have a good job and some income and some where to live everything will be ok
Im getting there. Step by step
Lov u
Good luck to you chap. Wishing you the very best.
Many thanks for your lovely comment ❤️
the algorithm is showing me a lot of people like you now. It's inspiring. I'm 47 now but still as lost as ever. I've been making a new start in my head for decades but nothing ever happens 😆
Too much overwhelm. If I started a channel it would be about too many scattered topics.
But then again, i need to actually DO something. My current existence is a soulless one.
My best advise is just start. I find the answers find you quicker when you take the first step.
I totally understand how you feel I felt the same but believe me if you're feeling this Its because you are mesnt for something bigger and better
Keep an eye out for Sundays video 😉
My channel is a garbled mess
Just start.. I did last week and mine is a mess but it’s my mess, and It’s helping me tidy the mess up ready for a fresh start
@@Phillip_DeaneWhat a mega comment to that comment. Kudus to to you Phillip. Phillip is right. Just do it. You sound like you'd be really entertaining. Best wishes to you both. Pete

I got married last year at 46, been teaching myself financial literacy, investing and building a stocks and shares portfolio since 2021, just started re-training and studying to become a driving instructor after a very patchy and inconsistent career driving vans and small lorries, i read and play chess everyday, back in the gym body and mind feeling great, im actually really excited about the future so here's to all us 40 sometings...life is just practise up till 40 lol
All the best to you on your journey pal.
Thats absolutely amazing thank you for sharing.
You can do it!
Thank you 🙌🏽
Beautiful scenery. I've never heard of you but the YT algorithm must have brought you to my attention. Good video and good luck with your channel.
Thank you very much
Try Thailand, you will be 25 forever there. But think of a Thai man on his 40s, he's got nowhere to go.
Wow uncle 69 subs already
Good evening ❤😊 excellent video 👍👍

Are you at Cyprus ?

I like your new picture
I know i am
Brilliant video well done Phillip, more awareness needed
Why dont you do a fundraiser for Mental Health, or the 1000 subscriber gets to pick a challenge to raise awareness.
Great Idea
Sooo, whats the new job mate?
I just turned 41 and starting over, career, friends and life in general. 4 years ago i was a raging alcoholic, which lasted about 5 years. So now im piecing my life back together. Its not easy, but much better than the life i overcame. It really is never too late.
I’m 45 ran my own business for 20 years - I am in the process of closing it down and going back employed for my family sake
Mid life crisis? Or your priorities change as you get older?
Too late for what? To be a ballerina? A roofer? Probably. Depends.
I'm out in car with 2 bbqs right now, had enough
There are plenty of free helplines available to speak to people it really does help to speak take that first step.
@@Phillip_Deane 2 years I've tried
40 is probably too late. I'm tired. I cannot do the things I used to do. Nobody will help anyway.
There is plenty of time. We are still young
You seriously only 40? 🙃 You look 58
Why Thank you
you have not aged well
