He’s a monster and he sounds great with a tele. The drummer is killing it too!
Love the way the drummer plays this song....grooves... ;)
Well you’re a drummer Ofcourse your gonna pick it up
MAGICAL tones when this man puts a tele in his hands!!! BLOWS AWAY his PRS sounds IMO!!!
He is a talented guitarist. Always enjoy his performance.
The DTG is a great instrument, but I like the clarity of the Tele. In Mr. Grissom's hands, anything is gonna sound great.
Awesome as always!Love the Saxon pub in Austin, I always head there when I'm town. :-)
Hot damn! His playing is just as incendiary on the Tele as it is when he uses his PRS guitars. Might even be cleaner and more cutting here. Love it!
I agree. Never heard him on a tele before. I like it!
Yeah he couldn’t build a better sound than his old fenders produce, no matter how hard he tried!
And Marshalls, I almost forgot!
That's badass! Love the Tele!
Flowing on that Tele brother!
Another great video Robert! Looking forward to seeing David at the Guitar Sanctuary in McKinney tomorrow night! Thanks for the post!
Great to hear David rockin’ a Tele. He still gets his signature tone and vibe.
Hi, Dave!
I love the tele tone..i like it better than his prs ..
Hoped I’d find this. Just heard it on Serious
The PRS DGT is a longer scale like a Tele, also both are two pickup guitars. It’s not a stretch to see the viability of both. I prefer David’s DGT, it’s more complex and sophisticated rather than being utilitarian.🎸🇺🇸
You got that backwards. Tele scale length = 25.5"; DGT scale length = 25".
You might also like the same tune on Spotify by Rolf Wikström, a Swedish blues hero. Album '2 kvällar på Fascing'. Enjoy :)
Ahh now I know what Joe Bonamassa talks about, u are awesome 😉
Well done !
Oh yeah.............
Sounds fantastic! I gotta give that try. What amp are you running through?
When Joe Bonamassa named his fav... 😊
Teles rule......
Getting such a fat tone out of a tele is just plain rude- in good way...
That drummer needs to learn how to play a blues shuffle before entering into the Albert Collins arena of funk.
The song is "ICE MAN" not "Don't lose Your Cool".
No it's not !
Linn Roath you are incorrect...this song is indeed called “Don’t Lose your Cool”....listen to Albert Collins record “Truckin with Albert”
Wrong.
