This game, to me, was more maddening than the Tennessee game. I think deep down we all knew Bama didn’t match up well with Tennessee, at least their offense against our defense. But even during this game I viewed LSU as a just slightly above average team. Just my opinion, but if Bama doesn’t throw the end zone pick during the first drive, they win by 10-14 points.
I agree. Tennessee had a quarterback older than half the NFL quarterbacks and a ton of experience. LSU was extremely young, totally new system, and they looked very mediocre in most of their games. I think after the Tennessee loss, most people thought it was a typical Saban era loss where the team will come out more focused afterwards. The LSU loss was when I knew that this Bama team just didn't have it.
As a LSU fan it would be very tough to tell how this game would’ve gone had we not got that INT in the end zone and y’all got even a field goal or of course a TD. That was very clutch and props to Bama and Bryce Young on a great game.

It was a bigger slam at us because we just got flat outplayed and out-coached that game. 10-4 in Kelly’s first year is outstanding and it just figures to get better as he continues to coach and recruit.
