I guess the inability to chill and appreciate the beauty, peace, and that stuff stems from my subconscious belief that if I get too comfy, then I'll grow lazy and complacent. And when hard times hit, because they always do in life, I won't know what to do in order to get myself out of that unpleasant situation.
That's such a great insight! That speaks to your relationship with your shadow side, or viewing that taurus descendant as lazy and complacent rather than seeing the benefits of it. It can be very easy to dislike and criticize the shadow side because it is the opposite of our identity but if we learn to appreciate the benefits that the shadow side has to offer we can become more well rounded individuals :)
When you’re a Taurus 🌞 and Scorpio ⬆️ and relate to both the desire for acquisition and the longing for security. I feel a weird pull towards either dichotomy at a given moment.

You have hit the nail on the head for every bit of my life as a scorp ascendent. Family split when I was young. Raised by my grandparents, then mother, then father. Moved more houses and states that I can count in Aus. Went to 5 different schools. Nature was my greatest teacher - impermanence of life :) Asked about how babies were made at age 5 and interested in mysticism, yin yang, birth/death, sexuality from a very young age and highly religious schooling and polarising experiences of beliefs and human experience. Highly curious, science passion and the arts, music and dance. As a teen, suicide, drugs and young mates dying played a huge part. As a I grew into young adulthood I moved more countries and live in a perpetual state of what feels like gypsy-life, never being able to fully settle. It's like I get an itch and need to move and then bang go through another loss or transformation. Power of Now by Eckart Tolle has helped me greatly to find presence, also the practise of minimalism (not owning much) and how liberating and freeing that feels. It gives me time to focus on the people, animals that I love and share deep connections with, its been very beneficial. It's made moving easier too :p I have found great peace in learning, grounding in exercise and being in nature and have found that it is healing to listen to intuition and SLOW DOWN. This is advice I would give any scorpio rising :)

.. This is why I dont hold on to people or anything material; I learned this at a very young age. Letting go for me is very easy. And because we are very intuitive, we read people very easy, so I don’t waste time with the wrong ones & cut them off right off the bat.
I cant be around many people, because of energies, not out of fear, but the weight. Im not a hypocrite nor fake, therefore, if I dont like the environment, I wont be there.
Ive literally experienced death twice; I was born dead, and 2nd pregnancy I ended up in a comma for 4 days. And it happens to be that I aint afraid of it. This rising sign makes me really weird; people, not many understand. So, I rather by choice, be Solo, and I actually like it. My kids find me weird, lol, but they are used to it. BTW, I love being in the dark. Red & black my fave colors, lol.

I'm a scorpio rising and this video describes perfectly my situation. My mother died when I was only 6 years old and at that age it was so painful to accept that I will not see her again. Now I am 22 but I've had and still having a hard time living the life as it is, like I am always analyzing things which makes it impossible for me to be 100% present in any situation and enjoying it.

This girl that invited me to do yoga with her told me that she bets I have scorpio in me and said I have a darkness to me. Didn’t really know what she meant. She asked for my birth certificate and told me I’m a scorpio rising. I do have long dark hair, black eyes, tan darker skin, a long nose, I do like blood, I am very secretive. Another girl I know told me “your aura is very cryptic”. I did experience loss of my best friend and grandmother and many others back to back dying in my life. I do get told I’m “scary” or scare some people not sure why. I do come across people that are interested in sexual ways with me. My libido is pumping even if I don’t want it to be. I don’t like it when the things I love get taken from me at all. I do hate conforming with a passion. This video is on point. I think this stuff is real. I don’t know. Interesting.

Scorpio rising with Mars and Moon in1st house in Scorpio conjunct Asc. Also have Pluto in 1st in Scoprio and Jupiter in Sag there. I'm way too much for 99.9% percent of people so trying to mitigate and subdue that 1st house stellium. It's true, we need people to keep our sanity in check and show us what stability is but it's hard to get close to someone when most people hate you for no reason. I don't even have to do or say anything, my presence itself seems to make people feel uneasy. This crap is hard to overcome.

Was born a Master Number 11 with my Sun at 29 degrees Leo, Taurus Moon and Scorpio rising in both my 1 st house and 12 house. Father was born a Master Number 22 and Scorpio Sun, Mother, Capricorn Sun. My Father literally was movie star handsome.
A fair amount of trauma after age two which continued into adolescence, then in my 20's and then almost 30 years of utter happiness until I lost my 2nd Husband unexpectedly, completely traumatic, but I feel very strong for having survived all of those emotional traumas. Have also experienced some difficult physical major traumas in the last twenty years but have fortunately had enough determination to get through those as well.

I'm a scorpio rising and sure I resonated with some of these situations but most people I know could resonate with these things . Death is a part of life , nothing is permanent, everyone knows that.....
You're absolutely right, death is a part of life and nothing is permanent. Most everybody has Scorpio ruling at least one house, so the impermanence of life isn't a unique understanding. However not everyone has this realization impact them so early in life and ingrain so intrinsically with their identity, or affect the way they interact with the world as much as the Scorpio rising. Not everyone gets the same sense of support and resources gifted to them in their relationships as a Taurus descendant. Some people in fact only begin to palpably understand the impermanence and insecurity of life through relationships. Scorpio rising fully understands and identifies with that realization from birth or a very young age, early enough to have it influence their identity.
@@NinaBAstrology okay thank you for your response. I have recently been doing research into astrology. I don't really know if it's real but I know it has me pretty terrified of things and I hate the feeling that I've struggled bc of the placements of the planets and stars at the time I was born. I did not ask to be born into this life and I find it cruel to feel like im in this box that I did not ask for. I dont see why my destiny would be written out for me . I now feel like I obsess over it . Me and my boyfriends charts are not "in the stars" and it has me judging my relationship even though I love him. I feel so depressed after getting into astrology and honestly I wish I never had . That's probably why I responded the way I did here. It feels like I can't quit looking into it even when I want to :( I don't know if you understand how I feel

It makes total sense that all of this would feel overwhelming for you! It's a lot to take in, especially when you've got intense energy in your chart. The idea that astrology is fatalistic can be scary, and personally it's not an outlook that I recommend leaning into. Astrology can give us powerful insight and I hope that the information that I present can be validating instead of inspiring doom. But you are an empowered being with free will who can use the insights of astrology to better understand yourself and act of out that consciousness. Or if astrology is too overwhelming, it's okay to go fully from your gut! That's definitely always my recommendation when it comes to synastry. It's such a complicated thing to interpret and at the end of the day, love trumps all
