Otiria Moerewa flood protection

Severe flooding has affected the residents of Ōtiria and Moerewa for decades now, due to roading and rail changes made over time.
Fortunately, NRC and partners have done something about it. Work began earlier this year and we couldn’t be prouder of the approach taken. We’re working alongside tangata whenua to ensure everyone is happy with the outcome.
