I like you guys very little talking and you show us what to do. Thanks for the professionalism and the family friendly show.
Great video.. Gives the urge to get out on the water and catch something. Thanks guys
that's the coolest boat I've ever seen.
Awesome video
Scott runs a great show! Entertaining, educational, and just allot of fun. It makes me want to explore all the different types of fishing he does. Love the G3 Sportsman!
Thanks buddy
I've tried the Secret 7 before below the spillway at Grenada lake, and it is absolutely lethal! Great product!
Thanks guys. That video made my day. I was out today with absolutely no bites.
Good videos Scott, the Secret 7 is some good stuff. They really know how to fish for catfish for sure and from the looks of it they do a good job cooking them too ;-) Thanks for sharing with us.
Nice! Channel cats are my favorite catfish to eat.
Absolutely!
Nice video guys. Next time Team Catfish is at Oologah Lake hit me up!!
I want that boat. Maybe when my wife gets done with the military I will break down and buy one
Let me be the first to tell you guys I catfish roughly 30 times a year sometimes more and Secret 7 is in my opinion the best dip bait manufactured. Now when it's all baits across the Spectrum fresh shad will always beat dip bait and depending on the day sometimes Secret 7 won't be near as useful as some other baits but overall if you want a bait that will give you high success Time After Time Secret 7 is definitely the way to go.
If you go to my channel I actually do bait verse bait videos and you can see secret seven going up against other baits.
Any one know what kind of poles them are ? Ugly sticks? Lews?
Ugly Stik Catfish Edition 8ft M/H
great video and very informative. That cheese dip bait, is there a website where I can buy me some and the name of it?
Just go to teamcatfish.com Secret 7 or Sudden Impact
I want to know what rod and reel combos are they using
Those are Ugly Stik Catfish Series 8' M/H with Abu Garcia 6500 reels
G3 Sportsman thank you I appreciate it for the info
i have channel cats in my pond! but.... there small
How small
Might be bullhead
do you guys add anything to secret 7, haven't got a bite on it and I've caught catfish in the same spot with liver
No it should stink enough. lol Channel cats really go after the Secret 7. Blue cats not as much. Is that what you caught on liver?
+G3 Sportsman oh man it stinks alright lol I've only caught channel cat that's what only seems to be around from where I am. I'll have to give secret 7 another try.
What state is this? How u guys in shorts lol
Oklahoma. Grand Lake. One of those crazy warm late Winter early Spring days
my grandma just came here from ock lol
For people new to catfishing their is a secret that not a lot of people know... cats have 3 spines that are located in the three front fins and if you get stuck by one, it stings like the devil and it last 20-30 min. The secret is if you get stung, rub the spot you got hit on the belly of the catfish and the pain is instantly gone. Hope this helps the new guys and girls to the great sport of catfishing! Always remember tight lines!
Don’t do this everyone. This is old folklore and will just cause a nasty infection. There is no poison on most catfish. Only bullheads, that’s the whole reason to rub slime on the puncture, and the gel just feels good on the wound. Please stop spreading this misnomer.
This is an old wives tale and it's not a good idea guys don't rub the belly of a catfish which goes around the lake on the bottom where all the rotting fish and feces is on your fresh wound. My mom's a nurse and she will tell you how that can turn out. The spines do hurt if you get pricked by them but that's why I carry a first aid kit with alcohol swabs in it. Just clean it off and go on with your day.
I hate treble hooks, circle hooks are the best for catch and release.
I’m in agreement. Fortunately we had no issues that I remember
Nice video guys but I have to say I am not a fan of using treble hooks for such situations. I feel it is extremely irresponsible to use treble hooks in such a manner. If you gut hook or throat hook a fish that is not legal size or another fish that is endangered or whatever. If you're using a regular hook and cut the line he has half a chance to survive but using a treble hook there is no chance that fish is going to survive.
