- Hey guys! Here is the final leg of my east coast trip, traveling to NYC, Boston, Philly, D.C., and the Burgh, with a flight aboard an American Eagle E175 over to the Steel City. This flight had to be one of the most memorable sunsets I've ever encountered - brought to life even more by the New York City skyline behind it. The flight itself was not that full, and therefore made for an enjoyable experience for myself. Besides that, the flight attendants were some of the nicest I've had on American. And as always, free drinks/snacks were provided, a free carry-on/personal item were included, WiFi and free entertainment was offered, flight miraculously departed and arrived on time or early, and the boarding process was actually smooth (due to the lack of people). As I mention in the video, only negatives were the 35-40 minute taxi at LaGuardia and the lack of a decent view due to the flight occurring for the majority at night. Hope you guys enjoy!

I agree LGA still looks kinda trashy. The new gates will look much nicer.
As for your comment about the concourse issues the shuttle is basically a courtesy so you don't have to go outside security and get back on the TSA line again.
Truth be told American should really try to keep their gate changes in the same concourse. All the C flights together, All the D flights together etc.
One thing I can tell you is that the new gates they finished look very nice. Only problem is most of the restaurants inside suck

I can also a test to your remark regarding "making up time in the air". Most of the times ,my departure from O"hare was delayed,it arrived either on time or early...
Exactly! In reality, a flight from say D.C. to NYC only takes 30 min. (or even less) but the ground delays push that time up

It's American's express brand and other airlines like Republic, Envoy, SkyWest, etc. operate the flights
My only experience with LaGuardia was 12 years ago. It looked old then. I had to get from terminal 2 to terminal 1. No one could tell me the best way to do that. I ended up on a 10 minute walk across a busy parking lot and entrance road.
I would rather have the ground taxi between terminals than to have to exit the secured area and clear security a second time. I've done that txfr'ing from an Air Canada flight to a United flight and it was a painful experience. Just had to clear security at SAN on a SWA txfr this past week.
i am looking at flying to phoenix from omaha in january and they allow 3 hours 10 minutes to fly from omaha to phoenix due to deicing the plane and the actual flight is like 2 hours 30 minutes and coming back the flight is 2 hours 10 minutes
new york laguardia ranked the 6th worst airport in the country 2019 chicago midways now ranked the worst airport i somewhat agree with midway being the worst chicago midway used to be my favorite airport but not anymore food tastes bad now the chain restaurants now replaced with local no named restaurants and are expensive also boarding efficency is bad especially near an end gate both A and B concourses and gate A4a and A4b in chicago midway is the worst isolated from the rest of the airport no waiting room at all
on DL DELTA is spelled out on the cookie and how many restrooms on that plane

concourse B in terminal B is really nice i heard also those shuttles at laguardia are bad also did u know qfs aviation theplanesguy and long island aviator know that airport really well

Is "Yinzer Nation' an inside joke? Something a Pittsburgh resident would understand? With a 40 minute taxi time,I'm guessing the pilot would've had full tanks for the fuel burn just to get to the runway--I'm no fan of the E175,I find the cabin cramped and window placement for filming is poor.Never having flown from LGA,I find it strange that one cannot get from one AA concourse to another without going thru TSA again,one would think there would a 'sterile' connecting passageway--perhaps the terminal rebuild will fix that.For an airport as large as PIT,lots of empty gates
Haha yah! Just another one of many nicknames for the city. Well comparing the E175 to larger jets it is cramped, but compared to other CRJs it is one of the best. And yah once LGA builds the new terminal it'll be a whole lot better!

How long was the flight (in the air)? Seemed pretty short considering that you arrived on time despite the delay
I’d say that when leaving LGA, the airlines give themselves way more time than the actual flight time in scheduling because they know about how long it will take!

@@viksinha5410 Kind of! For example, Louisville SDF to Chicago MDW on SWA and Louisville SDF to Chicago ORD on AA or UA is the same length, but the UA and AA flights are scheduled for longer because the taxi at ORD is longer than the taxi at MDW! I hope that makes sense!

I like your video’s & watch them when I can, but If I might suggest that when you travel even for a short period of time that you buy some food like Subway or what ever kind of food you like that you can out in your carry on that way when you’re enroute to your final destination you have your own Inflight meal or meals. Again great videos & as always Travel safely.

I would have to agree with that, to a certain extent...one concourse is good, the others not so much

Thanks for another PIT video. I worked in the now AA hangar (@ 25:30) from 1981 when it was built until February '17 when I retired.

@@thejazzguy13 Hangar 5 is Base Maintenance. We started with BAC1-111, DC-9 in '81. Then 727, MD-80, 737-200,-300, -400. 757, now Narrow body Airbus 319, 320, 321. And a few E-190 once in a while.
