Very impressive session with the Arp as central sequencer tool. Daily practice with the Arp, learning to control/play your synths/plugins creates great possibilities in making music.
Unlike a step sequencer or MIDI recorder, where you enter the exact notes, ARP generates melodies based on the notes/chords you chose. The sequences themselves are built by combining various parameters, each controlling a different aspect of the musical sequence. The possibilities are huge. ARP has a wealth of parameters and modulations that can be combined to create a virtually unlimited variety of melodies. It is generative but it's not random. You explore but you are in control. Take a look at some of our other videos to see how it works. If you have any further questions please feel free to ask. Contact us at midicake.com or on our forum.
I use the Flame uQMCV and u16CC combo, they are small and do everything I want. MIDI Thru, Clock, 4 Note Channels and 16 CCs. There's a discussion about MIDI to CV Eurorack options on our forum... www.midicake.com/forum/general-discussion/eurorack-multi-channel-midi-to-cv
Lovely

This long overdue video illustrates how the arp can be used as a sketch pad for ideas that follow one another freely. Very liberating improv device.
Top! 😎
Cheers!
Wowza that was awesome!
Definitely recognise that robot 😅
Thank! Yeah, good memories! 🤖
Can the Midicake create its own melodies? So completely unexpected results? Or do individual notes have to be entered?

What are you using for MIDI in/converter? Thanks
