Glues I'd recommend are Permatex headliner carpet glue, or 3M high tac 76.

my roof has been torn off and it is so bad. been planning on doing this for a while. i dont have much time to do it, would it be ok to drive without it so it can dry at home?
I believe that it can treated as a road defect with headliners sagging or even completely removed, so keep that in mind.
But apart from that, car would get warmer fast with it removed, or more noisy while driving.
However you can make the car drivable by positioning all the required plastics back into place in order to feel safe on the road. Eg: make sure rear view mirrors are back on, consider the operations of side airbags, seats back into position.
Way off topic but what pants are those? I do landscaping and they look like they’re meant to last

How'd you free it from the A pillars?
Did you spray both sides or just one ?
Spray both the back of the new fabric and the board 👍
How much fabric do I need?
We haven't wrote down any measurements for this one yet.
If your buying fabric, best to measure this one up yourself.
All headliner fabric usually comes 151cm wide.

My car is so deteriorated everything is just falling apart
Should have used a non-marring panel removal tool instead of that thin screwdriver, otherwise interior panel edges have a bunch of small pry marks everywhere you pushed for leverage. I'd be pissed if I paid money for a shop to do a repair and saw that.
With experience and being careful a flat head screwdriver works well, however I agree sometimes the plastic trim removal tools are best for certain applications. No plastics were harmed in the making of this video👍😁
We have came along way since the making of this video, and now we Majority of the time use specific plastic trim removal tools.

Nothing cool about fixing cars. Lose the sunglasses.
Strongly recommend wearing eye safety while removing and installing headliners. Unless you like trips to the optometrist.
And working outdoors, have the shades on instead!
