Mario does get a kiss from the Princess and gets a cake but they aren’t together as we learn in Odyssey, in the ending of Odyssey, when Mario and Bowser are trying to win Peach’s love, she rejects them both but she’s still on good terms with Mario, while his brother, Luigi, is another story since Daisy like him and he likes her back while Mario likes Peach while Peach does like him, but as a friend, not romantically.

@@amaniwhite9622 Is it me or does T&SP purposely try to make Amy unlikable in these scenarios. Imo the real Amy is far more nuanced. Sonic has never outright told Amy he didn’t love her in the series and we’ve never seen an actual love triangle scenario other than Archie (which Amy steps aside for sonic and sally). People think because Amy has shown to be possessive of sonic before that she’s like a psycho when in my opinion Amy has a good heart and if was convinced sonic doesn’t like her she would leave him alone.
