I was priveledhed to grow up in Seagrove and Grayton! My parents had the old G Bch Store (Red Bar) after Van Ness Butler, and prior to The Red Bar! The story about Al Capone is true! My mother did the interview for book, ‘The Way We Were:Recollections of South Walton’, 1988, with then elderly Laura McCook from Chicago, who purchased the dilapidated old hotel and restored it in 1922. It was 3 stories, but one story was later buried in a hurricane. I love the preservation by the current owners! I’d like to buy it!!❤😎
