It took me some real time to find the explicit version
To be honest I prefer clean versions if the lyrics are amended or if there's little difference between a Explicit song and its clean version, I also consider the overall message, flow of a clean version & the intended audience of a song when considering whether to listen to a clean or Explicit version. In the case of say so since it sounds like a pop song, and there's only a few words blanked out I would prefer the clean version in this case to keep the 70s vibe of the song.

I mean their some flows she does well in like in this version but that other original they put out is not it. The words she saying they fit the melody. People MUST know that the main reason they had to switch Nicki's verse is because THE ORIGINAL VERSION GOT LEAKED. It wasn't the producer that decided for them which one is better, but it was an act of a nosey ass people for leaking it. This sort of act has been happening to a lot of artist for example Charli xcx and Melanie Martinez and this forces them to either work harder to make it sound different than the original or THROW THE ENTIRE TRACK AWAY...IT'S BECAUSE OF THIS WE DID NOT GET "XCX WORLD" AND THE PEOPLE ARE MAD.
But i dont get why they had to redo it though? Just beacuse of a leak? Its not like we'd like it any less

People wanted to listen to the remix version to hear Nicki's verse but it was leaked. They might thought what's the point of releasing this remix when others might have listen to it somewhere else and won't stream it on their officiat channel. Every click matters in this industry thus they made the decision to remake the remix
