This video is made according to request and this serve definitely is nowhere close to 99% ZJK style but the aim is to explore his basic movements for this serve so people can imitate by themselves.

Chris Nguyen The reverse pendulum takes tons of practice to master it, I personally wouldn’t try it in a game unless you really understand the technique

This is so far the best tutorial of the reverse pendulum serve I've ever watched!

Nice, been using this serve for a few years now. The spin you get can really catch people off guardif you serve it with enough power. Great tutorial for people curious about it.

Your 'breakdown' of the serve and replication are insightful.
Thanks for taking the time to analyze and post.
    I appreciated this very much.

You should not be ashamed of dungeon table; it was unique, interesting, and showed your dedication!
Appearance is not as important as content, in the long run.

I've been working on this for the past week and i've been getting massive amounts of spin. The ball with bounce 2-3 times on the table and with curve like crazy!

Great Video, The serve was shown in very good detail. I must have tried this serve 100 times and failed then I watched this video and I can now excecute it rather well. They Key Points you need to do this serve are:
Use the grip shown in this video
Get your angles right like shown in the video
Dont try to do this serve to quickly speed will come in time

Very nice and clear. It's only now that I understood that the first swing is backward and than only forward. I could never grasp it just by watching others. Thanks for sharing.

Personally, this is the most difficult serve for me to master (I have every other serve in my repertoire: The Ovtcharov Backhand, pendulum, etc.) To do it so relaxed and with such high amounts of spin keeps me so envious.... Great job!!!!

One other key characteristic I found with this serve is when youve wound back, once your making contact with the ball try and push the ball down so it will land on the other side of the table.

well, maybe just hold the head of the racket instead of the handle, that makes sure it won't touch your wrist (if i'm imagining it correctly!). Maybe just tilt the angle a little and make sure it doesn't touch?

The dungeon made it look like a secret facillity, what i will say about where you play is that the area around you is very restrictive so you not really ever going to be able to open up and for defenders it is imposible to play in.

ZJK brings his bat back and over his head, tricks the opponent with the motion of the pendulum serve then brings the bat out while hitting the ball, making the spin of the reverse pendulum serve.
