Both the knees and elbows pull out to allow for more articulation. Also, the original is 16” and the sentinel does have nearly the accessories. This one is by far the best iron Giant to get because it’s the perfect hybrid of articulation and accessories.

yea, while I don't have one and I am not speaking from experience there are multiple stop motion short films that feature this figure, and stop motion requires a whole lot of posing; but I can understand why one would be a little over-cautious with this figure. It's 200$ and those ratchet joints can be a little scary.
I'm obsessed with this guy, but I'm terrified he'll break with every movement with him, great display piece but if you can get your hands on him be extremely careful with him
I have this and the shoulder ratchet scares the shit out of me. Every time I move it, it feels like it’s about to break. You ever find a way to get around that issue?

I only have the talking iron Giant on my birthday 2 years ago.
I feel like that car is a bit too small and should be about 3/4s of the foot’s size in my opinion but it looks like a solid figure
not a solid figure at all. very fragile, poor quality plastic and mine came with very loose head and a leg broke at the first use.
Good grief m, so much fear about breaking or scratching this figure. It tell deep inside is not as good as you then say it is.
