hi sir my inverter is kikdr and the signal is thermostat so do i still give 3.3 volts at signal pin and start the circuit? can i know what should be the voltage at the 3 pin connector im getting dcv +-12v at all 3 pins is this correct? i saw in other video they short thermostat to neutral and it starts the compressor but mine cannot i have followed your video all the way to the chip b4 the compressor 3 pin but i cannot test the chip is there another way to test the chip sir? this video is THE BEST video to understand the repair!! keep up the good job sir!
I have tested the compressor and my readings was I believe 6.7 ohms on all three legs and testing each line to ground was not shorted using a typical multimeter ! Does that seem correct?
My refrigerator stops working and completely defrosts sporadically. It will start working several hours later and work for a couple of months. The amps from the motherboard and voltage to the inverter checks out. Can the problem be the thermostat in the inverter.

the reason for my question about which is the neutral on the board ,is that when I measure the voltage, on the 390uF capacitor (with voltmeter) I place the black wire on the negative of the capacitor and the positive on the positive of the capacitor and i read -63V. which tell me that it is reversed, right?
@@HaseebElectronics so I connected the neutral the correct way and now i see 350V pk2pk clean sine wave between each of the 3 phases, does it mean that the inverter is good? also, with or without 5V signal into the inverter i see the 350V on the 3 phases , is that correct?
It is not a good reading it mult square waves sampled circuit and. it's output meat drives through processor and driver ic and finally through igbt sets so I think you need to verify the circuit
Very interesting video Haseeb about the Theory and practical repair regarding this VCC3 Compressor DC inverter control board!!! I learned again a lot today. question: I measured all 7 SMD small capacitors and have similar readings as you have in the video except for one: C201 (33microfarad) is only 0.11VDC, should be 6VDC. So I gues this one is the trouble maker. This VCC3 2456 23 is build in a Liebherr diepfreezer GNP 3376 20K. The problem is that when turned on the maximum he will go down is -2 degrees Celcius. There was quit some ice in the "No-frost" section in the top so I cleaned everithing and all ice is gone now. But still the same issue. Meanwhile I ordered the top PCB 6133 732-00 where both temp sensors and Defrost heating, FAN iare connected. But today after I saw your video the problm might lay in the CVV3 module... I checked/measured all folowing parts are working fine: Air Sensor (6kOhm), Evaporator Sensor(6KOhm), Door contact, Fan, Defrost Heating system(220Ohm),Compressor both speeds are working-initial speed High and low speed. Could you give me a hind Haseeb? MAny thanks again. Stephan.
In your situation it seems that the vcc3 board is working nicely Problem may be in thermostat board. Might be it is ending false switching or Please check optocoupler connected near thermostat connector (on vcc3 board) Otherwise if the board is turning on and the compressor is working, it means the board is working good. Just the thermostat switch is not sending the control commands to the vcc3 board for proper function You can try the thermostat or check wiring as well Because it is low voltage high frequency signal, loos or poor connection in communication makes improper behavior of the system
@@HaseebElectronics Many thanks again Haseeb for your tips. I measured again on that one smd capacitor C201 and now I measured 6.2VDC. So my bad. Indeed the CVV3 inverter is working fine. I also checked the optocoupler and this one is working fine as well from 3.2 VDC to 0.1 VDC once I connect 3.3 VDC on the thermostat connector. The wiring from the VCC3 PCB to the thermostat PCB is checked and fine. I still hope that the top PCB 6133 732-00 (thermostat PCB) that will arrive one of the next days will solve the issue. I measured also the 3 windings from the compressor and had nicely 3 x 16.5 Ohm. So compressor is also OK. Finaly after exchanging the top PCB 6133 732-00 (thermostat PCB: 90 euro) the Diepfreezer is working again perfect. Many thanks for your very helpfull information Haseeb! KR, Stephan.
Hi I’ve been pulling my hair out! I have a vcc3 1156 115-127 to 230 53-150 hz and 3.3 amp on both input and output and single phase input to 3 phase output but now I discovered my original was what they call “Drop in” and the one I acquired is what they call “frequency” what is the difference?
