I have fixed mine i disconnected a drive that didnt have windows on it but i needed to select that hdd other than the ssd and than after restarting stting it back to the ssd (when i booten on the hdd i still booted from ssd)

Okay I thing that I am now missing something, no video can explain that to me. I have 2 desktop computer, by using the same hard drive switching computer, in one box the windows starts with no problem, just as normal, on the other hand, if I take the same drive and put on the other computer box, then that msg comes on the screen that says "Reboot and select proper boot device or insert Boot media in selected boot device and press a key" Okay here is the thing, by using the same drive in different boxes, in one it starts and on the other its fails to start. from the box that refuses to start the windows, I already have changed cables to new ones, and as well as the cables from the other box that can start the drives, and it gives the same error, I changed some settings from the BIOS on the box that can't start the windows on the same drive, and still gives the same problem, I put back the setting and still gives the same issue. The question is, why by using the drive on a different computer it can start, but when I get it back to my box, it gives me that Booting error?
0:30 there’s actually another reason, I built a brand new pc turned on for the first time and it goes to the normal American Megatrend black page where you will hit Y or N, I accidentally hit Y moving my keyboard and it took me to this boot screen, not sure how to fix it 😂

@@ssebhduck what I ended up having to do was take a screwdriver and hold it between 2 small metal standoffs on the mobo for 15 seconds. I did a factory reset on bios. I changed all settings to what they should be and now its all good.

@@paultristan2094 yes i reset the cmos, look up how to reset it, but u basically have to remove the cmoss battery "shaped like a circle" leave it for a few minutes and put it back on also in my case my mother board (where the cmos battery is located at) didnt have a circle cmos battery it just had something i could connect a cable to but no cable was connected so i just put a plain screwdriver between the metals where u connect it and it reset my cmos
what if it shows both like i have one 250gb ssd where i have all my windows and stuff and a 1tb hdd where i only have games when i select my ssd it doesnt work
Didn\t work! Stuck in Aptio Setup Utility on Asus laptop X550J. Did not even recognize usb with windows 11 iso . Got the message to enter bios the battery needs to have at least 20% capacity remaining insert battery and try again. Have never removed battery. the laptop also gets burning hot. no usb available or recognized in the boot options in setup. What to do_=

okay so i went into my bios to turn secure boot on all i did was turn it on and save and exit . i now have this problem i’ve done everything all these videos say to do but nothing happens
Update !!! so i enabled secure boot, install/load default keys . changes the mode from setup to user . Then i disabled CSM and saved & exit . BOOM LOADED UP like a charm
PLEASE HELP I AM TOTAL NEWBIE TO PC..i have ryzen 5 5600x cpu and asrock b550m steel legend mobo. all clean brand new parts (as far as i know) newly built PC. i turned on the PC without monitor to see if it is all working.. the fans working RGBs.. cpu stock cooler fans working and all. i shut it down then turned on again with a monitor this time then i recieve the message says new cpu installed. and i press Y.. then i welcomed to asrock screen with an option to open bios.. as i press F11 the screen message says reboot and select proper boot device.. i dont know what to do please help! 🙏🙏🙏🥺🥺🥺

@@torogipro i plud my ssd to another pc, and check it in BIOS, i can see the ssd there but when i open the pc to check the visual drive i dont see it only the drive for the own PC

Disconnect the hard drive first and check for dirt, loss connection, or ports. Don't forget remove the CMOS battery from your mother board.

You can upgrade to ssd and your computer will be more faster than if you decide to buy another hdd again.

Shouldn't need to reinstall win 10 - if you have a suitable backup. Such as a disc image.

more likey that your SSD is ok but your OS might be corrupted, it cannot detect that it can boot an OS
