Matchbox restoration of BMW 3.0 CSL No. 54. Toy model cast.

The BMW 3.0 CSL was produced by Matchbox from 1976 to 1987. My model comes from the first year of production and is an English model. In the last years of the production of this model, it was made in a factory in Bulgaria. Orange versions predominated, but there were also white and blue ones. Overall, my BMW was in good condition, but it needed new painting, new stickers and a box made. I had to replace the axles in this car because the old ones were rusty and unusable. I made the wheel axles from spring steel and I crushed the axles on a welding machine of my own production.
